My family and I trust Haase to take great care of our heirloom pieces and make sure they are fixed up and ready to be fully appreciated (and I know my mom has found a few new pieces to add to her collection along the way too!).Even during this busy, crazy Christmas season, Haase’s wonderful staff worked their magic. There was a bit of confusion regarding when my rings would be fixed, but Vince and staff took great care to make sure I’d have these in time for Christmas regardless. “If you want to feel pressured into buying something that is not worth the price and have a sales person who cares more about the dollar of the sale than the customer, this is NOT the place for you. My fiance went to Powers when he picked out my engagement ring. We had gone to another store and looked together to get an idea of styles I liked. I was not with him when he picked out my ring and he did an AMAZING job. The ring is stunning and better than anything I saw at other stores. I found out after the fact that my soon to be father-in-law goes to Powers when buying jewelry for his wife. My fiance and I came back when we were starting to look for wedding bands for us. We worked with the same lady who helped my fiance pick out my engagement ring and she is fantastic (Lori - 90% sure that is her name). She took the time to listen to what we were thinking and showed us options that matched what we wanted and listened to the details we said we liked and didn't like and then helped guide us to other rings we'd like based on our feedback. She cared more about us being happy than what we were looking at or the price tag on it. My fiance found a ring there that he loved and we were able to order it in his size. I had two bands where I liked parts of one and parts of the other but felt torn and not in love with either one. She told me they could make a custom band (well 2 since I want one on either side of the engagement ring) that combined the aspects I liked of the two bands I was looking at. She even said they could match the style and size of the diamonds to the one in my engagement ring too. I was sold! I placed the order and went back a few weeks later to look at the mold and then confirmed it was how I wanted it and a few weeks after that I had my two custom made bands and they were 100% how I envisioned it. The only thing more shocking was the cost. Each custom band was about $1,500 which is way less than I was expecting them to be. My fiance has come back here 2 times since then. Once when he bought me beautiful Sapphire stud earing for my birthday and again when he bought diamond earrings for me for Christmas. We will definitely always come here whenever we are in the market to buy jewlery for an occassion. I also attached a picture (not the best) of the engagement ring and one of it with the two bands when they came in.”

“This place is an institution, I've got but good stuff to say about this place. Friendly staff, great variety of foods, delicious treats, and they even offer cooking classes! A family friend takes their cooking classes, and our Easter dinner was several courses, super flavorful, and all thanks to Gloriosos! They aren't doing indoor seating but their deli counter is still open. Highly HIGHLY recommend the vegetable arancini, they are out of this world. Or if you are looking for something grab and go, you can't go wrong with any of their sandwiches. Glad to see their taking COVID-19 seriously. Masks required, social distancing encourages, foot prints on the ground for guidance, snd plexiglass separating the cashiers from the customers.”

“Access Boutique is a cute store located on the Main Street in the Third Ward. Jim the owner was so nice on helping us find things that we would like. They were having a sale and we found some really nice purses, a large travel bag and a colorful scarf. 2 of the bags we purchased had a 2nd smaller bag inside! Fabrics and materials of all the items we saw were of pretty good quality. Prices were very fair and reasonable.The store is very nicely decorated. They have plenty of room for ease in picking things up to touch and try out. Definite store to re-visit again for more bargains!”
