“I grew up on the North side and still consider it home. Milwaukee has its own subset of issues, as do all cities. I would attribute most of this to historical segregation and a lack of resources. Regardless, the people at the Sherman Phoenix Marketplace are nothing short of wonderful. Intelligent, welcoming, and exceptional. Strong men and women!!!! “I always get my nails done at Magic Nails in the Sequoia Mall. I like Angie, my nail tech. I request her when I just walk in and I can get her most times but she can book up fast, so on weekdays you can call and make an appointment for her or any other nail tech working that day or later that week. Over the years all the techs have had the opportunity to take care of my nails. I must say that all of the techs are wonderful and do a great job. Stop in and give it a try. You won't be disappointed.”

“Visited the dollar store. Found everything that I needed here. Window insulating kits, reynolds wrap aluminum foil, dish washing liquid, and more. Best news. Everything was only a dollar. I would have paid twice as much for these items any where else. They also have helium-filled party balloons here! The drawback, waiting in long checkout lines at times, and getting carried away on purchasing items you don't really need! But if you buy only the items you came in for, this place can only save you a ton of money!”
