The Baird Center is a massive, modern, and clean convention center in downtown Milwaukee, known for hosting a wide variety of events from volleyball tournaments and dance competitions to trade shows and train exhibits. The venue features tall ceilings, a very large and flexible main space, and is easy to navigate. It offers ample space for both spectators and events, with many comfortable chairs, plenty of seating areas, and big, clean, well-placed bathrooms. The building is well cared for, with friendly and helpful staff and security, though bag searches are conducted. Food options are available, including concessions and sometimes a food court. The center connects via several skywalks to nearby hotels, garages, restaurants, and stores. A significant criticism involves the parking garage, which requires exiting to the street and walking outside to reach the main entrance, a notable issue in cold or snowy weather. Some event-specific feedback mentioned the lighting could be challenging for players, and the space can get very loud. Overall, it is considered a really nice venue and a good space for large events.

Can't wait for the next Volleyball Beew tournament. This place has the most comfortable chairs. No need to bring a bleacher chair. Not allowed because of the perfect cushioned folding chair.
