“Overall, it was a great day. It was a little confusing as when I checked in as I had a young girl who checked me in she did not tell me that there was a gift shop. She didn’t tell me what time breakfast was or where breakfast was. I understand that is a small hotel and you can see that there is a gift shop and you can see where breakfast is, but it would be nice to know where you can browse around to buy things and where you can purchase them where the pool would be I mean I wasn’t using the pool as that wasn’t why I was there, but I had no direction. She also just told me my room was 108 and I was on the first floor and she did not tell me where my room was. Thank God there was only one hall on the first floor so I kind of couldn’t know where it is but other than that, she didn’t tell me no direction I was very unhappy with her.”

“Only sorry that I didn't take pictures. This place is the best resort ever, we stayed here in the campground, sites are perfectly level, clean, nice concrete patios with beautiful lawns around them and evertything works, the grounds are perfectly kept. The shower house is pure luxury; it's spacious, super clean and the showers are pure luxury. The women that checked us in was welcoming and very gracious, thank you for a wonderful experience.”

“I can not recommend this place highly enough. We were in Maiden Rock for work, but could have easily spent a week observing the incredible detail put into the restoration of this old school. From the unique, and beautiful design of the interior to the incredible, intricate millwork, it is clear that Mr and Mrs Peterson are not only the most gracious of hosts, they are true artisans. It was our absolute pleasure to be their guests and will go out of our way to visit again.”
