The Best Western Plus Wausau-Rothschild Hotel provides an amazing stay with very friendly and personable service. Guests are consistently surprised by how nice the place is, describing it as a really nice place to stay. The rooms are nice, very clean and neat, just as pictured, and feature full-size refrigerators, dishwashers, microwaves, and two-burner stovetops. The hotel is praised for its cleanliness and maintenance. The breakfast is highlighted as amazing, really good, and the best guests have ever seen, offering a wide variety including fresh fruit, waffles, pancakes, biscuits and gravy, and eggs. The pool is well-maintained, well-lit, and comfortable. While the workout room is noted as small and warm, the overall experience is highly recommended. Many guests state they will definitely come back.
Clean and comfortable rooms. Friendly staff. Very pet friendly. The pool and hot tub are beautiful. Comfortable king size bed. Also lots of places to walk your pup. Good lication near Wausau.

The owners, staff and management (pretty much all the same) work hard to make sure guests feel like real people. If you're destination is within 30 miles, you must stay here. They have above-average frozen pizza you can buy for 12.00 & they'll bake it & cook it for you. I can't say enough about them.

I absolutely love coming here, the service, the cleanliness and overall atmosphere is superb. This is the only place I will stay in the Wausau area.
