βI love stopping by this store on my long trip from the Twin cities to GB. I love the deli food specifically the chicken thigh and sticky rice!! They are always nice and welcoming!β

βStopped for the tiny little corner of antiques. Had the bare essentials of a gas station but the basic needs. Staff was extremely friendly. Got a great vintage Samsonite makeup travel suitcase!β

βI enjoy shopping ALDI stores usually but there are times I can feel frustrated for them and me. This is not a location I frequent, but it was the last one between me and my destination. I ran in with my shopping list to pickup the couple items I need for the 4th of July and weekend.
Oh my, the store was pretty empty. I could only pick up 2 things on my list. I was disappointed to say the least. I now needed to come up with an alternative plan and add time on to my trip. No worries, it's nothing that a Super Walmart or other grocery store in town can't fix.
I asked an employee if they were going to be closed for the fourth and that's why they didn't have much of anything in the store. She responded that they would be open part of the day on the 4th. She also commented that it wasn't that they didn't have inventory in the back, they just didn't have time to stock shelves during the day. The clerk that handled my transaction, reiterated the same story as I checked out.
I assume they either lack employees or their management under anticipated the amount of manpower needed to run the store that day, IDK. But, I have never been to an ALDI with such low to no inventory out on the shelves.
It was sad to learn there was fresh produce and dairy, amongst other things on the premises but not available to the customers. For one, ALDI was missing out on a lot of sales, while their competition was getting their business and two, those fresh items were losing their shelf life while not even being available to be sold.
The poor staff looked like they had more than earned their pay that day. I can only imagine how stressful it must be to work in such a demanding position.
I'm hoping this isn't usual for this location. I will stop there again to see. But if I can't rely on them having the items I need, I'll go elsewhere and not waste my time stopping in.
Another observation I made was, with only a handful of people in the store, the first employee I spoke to walked through the store calling out that they would be closing in ten minutes. Which would be 20 minutes before their posted closing time. I thought to myself, wouldn't your last 30 minutes be better served getting out stock for those people in the store vs closing early... Hum.
As some other customers and I were making our way out of the store a couple was headed in, another customer was getting out of their car and a car was pulling into the parking lot. I thought, won't customers be surprised in about five minutes when they arrive and the doors are locked early. I would be irritated. But at least they wouldn't have to waste their time walking through the store to find out they didn't have what they wanted anyways.
I'm thankful this isn't my usual experience at Aldi stores.β
βI went in at 8 am and I had never been here before but it was the closest to my house and I desperately needed oatmilk for my morning coffee, I wish I got her name she had dark hair in a pony tail- but when I couldnβt find it and I asked her and she immediately went and ripped apart the cold pallets apart. by the 3rd one she finally found it! Iβm definitely coming again this was top notch customer service- she couldβve just as easily told me she didnβt have it in.β
βIf you need help finding something, just ask! Very friendly people, lots of selections which can be overwhelming the first couple times. I always bring home some staples and new snacks to try. Thanks for such a great grocery store!β

βThe only place I'll shop. They have many popular national brands. Also, their store brand products are often better than the leading national brand. Prices cannot be beat. Many unique items that cannot be found anywhere else. Bonus, the parking is always a breeze (unlike that place that starts with W), and they lead the movement of reducing or eliminating plastic bags.β
βIt is a great place, and it was very clean, and they always have amazing deals! They could have a bit more employees, but they still keep everything attended to. But overall it is a great place and I would recommend it.β
βGood meat selection for culturally relevant recipes. Huge spices collection. Sweet breads. Well stocked. If you're cooking Hispanic, this is this the place to shop. Fresh pork rinds.β

βMy favorite location in our area. All the staff are always kind, quick, and patient when I come in. There is also always a large variety of hot food no matter the time of day, which comes in handy for an insomniac like me! ?β
βI am specifically posting about the fresh bread in the bakery section. I am a bread lover and I had just happened to stop in there to pick up some fresh bread because it was closest to my location and I am so happy that I did. It was the most flavorful , delicious bread. The texture was exactly the way it should be. It was great. They knocked it out of the ballpark it was reasonably priced they had half loaf options. I will be getting all my fresh bread there from now on. So happy I stopped.β

βI stopped here last week only because I didnβt feel like going to my usual grocery store as I was in this area instead. I walked past the meat market just out of curiosity and I was greeted by the nicest gentleman named Greg. He went above and beyond to help me and was so kind! Itβs clear he takes pride in his work and cares about customer satisfaction. I came back to this store again today even though there are SO many other grocery stores much closer to my house- all because of Greg. Again, he set the standard of what great customer service should look like and handled all of my silly questions with professionalism and care. Employees like him are the reason customers stay loyal and he is a true asset to your store. Iβll definitely be back again!β
βNice place. A lot more run down than most stores but it has a nice homely atmosphere. Got a decent selection, including catfish, which I find very hard to find. Reasonable prices aswell.β

βI've been using their pickup services since COVID. I love it. Unfortunately the last 3 times I've picked up my groceries, I noticed a horrible smell as soon as the bags are put in my car. It smells like old or moldy ice, and the smell lasts all the way home and into the house. I think the smell is coming from the bags, which, I assume sit in a cooler/freezer until pickup time, so I don't know if the coolers/freezers are bad somehow or what the problem is. But it REALLY stinks! I called the store after the second time to let them know about it. Unfortunately, it didn't seem to do any good because the smell was still there for my pickup order today.β
βI used the self check out last thurs morning about 9:30 10:00. I checked out 2 bouquets of flowers that were fresh and fabulous...after I checked out a kind lady at the check out was helping another customer check out..after that she stopped and looked at me and said..Thank you for shopping. Those flowers will be making someone happy! SHE WAS RIGHT, they made 3 people happy and She thanked me for shopping at Pick and Save! A+++ to the kind lady helping self checkers...you made my day and I paid i forward❤ These people need to be recognized for the extra mile💛💛💛Thank you 💙β
βI prefer shopping here than anywhere in Wausau. The staff are incredible and so friendly. The isles are not very big, so they get congested when shopping with my kids. The organization is not exactly like other Pick N Saves. But easy to ask someone for helpβ
βIt's now late Aug of 2026 and not only has the parking surface been great for the last three years but now the delivery pickup area has been moved to the south end of the building making it so much more functional and safe - great work Walmart, great work!

The parking lot, at the Rib Mountain store, is awful. How much money has to be made before they treat the people right that make that money for them...? Makes one feel taken advantage of! Some areas have improved (Sept 23).β

I was trying to purchase a cake for some friends who wanted something specific that would normally have taken 24 hours or more to get. Thanks to Kelsey & her kindness, professional attitude & creativeness, she saved the day! Employees like Kelsey are the reason I will continue to shop at this store.β
