“We came to Chetek to go fishing for a week with my cousin who has been coming here for many years now! Of course in order to legally go fishing we needed a fishing license so we came here the day we arrived to get that taken care of. My wife and I both needed to get an out-of-state license so we answered all of their questions to fill out the form, paid the fee, and left with our fishing licenses. We also got some bait so we could get started immediately! Staff here were very helpful and friendly taking care of what we wanted. They have a good selection of bait and tackle.”
“I stopped here on my snowmobile in desperate need of 2-stroke oil. They didn't carry the type I needed, but the owner very generously went and grabbed a quart for me from his home nearby. Now that is going above and beyond for the customer!”
