Metro Market, established in downtown Milwaukee in 2004, introduced the urban shopping concept to the city and has since expanded with unique locations offering a mix of fresh groceries, a well-stocked center store, and prepared foods for shoppers on the go. However, reviews highlight some issues. The freshness and variety of flowers, fruits, and vegetables have been inconsistent, with some customers noting that produce quality and selection have declined over time. The two-level layout can be confusing, and the store often feels busy, with staff sometimes appearing rude or disengaged. While the store is generally clean and well-stocked, changes in frozen foods and limited baskets are frustrating. Despite a large liquor and juice section, some areas feel sparsely filled. Overall, the shopping experience has seen ups and downs.
I wish it were still the great store with all the stations in the main level, as it was when it first opened. As just a grocery store it's still nice and has a good variety of items.
