“We've been w/ PFCU for over 20 yrs simply because of the fact that they always work well for us. We've never had any major issues w/ them and they've always helped w/ any minor ones we may have incurred ( which were very few in our long time w/ them). I don't care for the fact that we can't make principal-only payments on our loans online. It is what it is , I guess. We are going to stay w/ PFCU for as as we continue to receive the GR8 treatment and service we've received these last 2 decades. Hopefully, many more years to come. We are very satisfied customers.”

“I have been going to Educators credit Union when it was a tiny credit union for Aurora employees. Now that was 30 years ago. I can’t say that with all the internet and app development, that things are not as they were 30 years ago. But I do get explanations about why, this or that is happening online to my account. There’s really only so much that they can remedy for customers. All I know is these employees are very dedicated to their work and their customers. Credit unions belong to the people! Banks belong to millionaires. For example, I went into kwik trip to withdraw MY money out from their ATM, and I dropped my keys and some change , by the time I got up to retrieve the cash waiting for me, it sucked it back into the ATM and I was never able to get my money back again. The bank who owned the ATM told me in no uncertain terms could I retrieve it back from them. Even if they had a surplus at the end of the night. But the worst part was that they actually sucked the money back in, and they didn’t put it back in my account?! No! That would be the decent, moral thing to do. They actually robbed me in broad daylight because they can. I never knew 10 seconds of bending down to retrieve my car keys and some change, would cost me $800! I cried all the way home. I will never give a bank one penny ever! Thank you to credit unions for helping the people who punch in and out every day for decades and help our families, and communities have some dignity.”

“After leaving, my very hard to deal with restrictive bank. That wouldn't allow me to use my own money. And kept freezing my accounts and embarrassing me at the grocery stores and other establishments with a frozen card on more than one occasion. I began my search for an institution. That I could live with, and good fortune smiled. I came upon the landmark credit union. It was like a breath of fresh air. The people are great. There are no limits on withdrawals like there were at my bank where I felt like my money wasn't my own . Now I feel relaxed where I am.
