“Great stay at the Tru for family wedding. Whole not a top notch Hilton property..the Tru is exactly what it says it is. Clean..very friendly..high tech. Check in on the app because the 1 desk person was overwhelmed with 3 weddings on labor day weekend. But apart from that everything was great! Rooms and the hotel all felt new and smelled clean. The small pool and workout area were all clean and nice. We loved the lobby area with the games and tvs. Felt like a fun place for all of us to hang out. The rooms were clean and the bed and bathroom facilities great. Highly recommend”

“Stopped by atvAvid Hotel in Monona for a business meeting and had a great experience. The lobby was very clean and well kept, which made a strong first impression. Everything felt simple, efficient, and comfortable. Great spot if you’re looking for a reliable place to stay. Would definitely recommend.”

“This is the coolest place I’ve ever stayed in. I’m here for three weeks and I’m in the long-term stay where they have a kitchen stove, dishwasher coffee pot. And if you need a crockpot blender or any of that type of stuff, I lend it to you”

“Stayed for a week while we awaited moving into a new home. The front desk staff are very friendly, generous and accommodating to my situation. Beds are comfortable, basically clean, quiet rooms. The bathroom towels are far too thin and small. The pool area and hot tub need a solid cleaning, and was messy with towels or pieces of dirt or trash. The breakfast is hot, yet seemed to have minimal variation and was inconsistent with items like eggs (important for vegetarian types like me). Location is a bit quirky so be sure to ask staff as the GPS is not yet updated with the under-construction roads and signs. The building is mid-renovation and changing to a new brand so I imagine it will be even better in the months to come.”

“My high ranking may look confusing given I note the quality of the space and location aren't great, but it makes sense for what the space gave me when I needed it: safety.

Recently had to move out of a home that was falling apart, and the process of moving here while I found another was simple. Restrictive, yes, but workable, and that was what I needed at the time. Guaranteed food in the morning, 24/7 access pending you don't be an awful guest, and a space large enough to build something for yourself.

It's not great you have to drive to get anything, or the amount of repair that needs to be done to it might not be worth it pending future guests, but it's a space you can go to if you need to unwind, transition, etc.

I'm thankful for this space, and I hope they can build something of it as well. :)”
