“Hotel is clean. House keeping are amazing at keeping the room clean and organized my whole stay. The gentleman that did breakfast was amazing. Had breakfast ready nice and early for those of us that leave early. Quality of food was really good. Washer and dryer are speed queen so my clothes got clean and dry. Only draw back is no social on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday.”

“we have stayed at this hotel numerous times over the last few years and have always enjoyed our stays there. there are new owners now if anything it is even better than before ALL employees were Extremely friendly and helpful very clean and updated room especially enjoyed the hard floors that they replaced the carpeting with. weekday price was amazing would recommend this hotel to everyone, but stay away from the Thirsty Goat a bar/restaurant close by. bartender was the rudest person we have ever had said he was overworked and literally yelled at us when we and other people asked for something!”

“We very much enjoyed staying at the Mansion Hill Inn. The hotel is very unique. The rooms are thoughtfully decorated, the commons spaces are very cozy, the breakfast is great. The rooms have access to a beautiful wrap around terrace. Besides all that, what truly separates this hotel from any other is their outstanding team. Every single member of the team is simply amazing. They all are very helpful and it is their priority to make your stay as pleasant as possible. They seem to genuinely enjoy their jobs. I highly recommend this hotel!”

“I made the mistake of booking at a different location. It was so poorly that it sent me into panic mode and I needed to make an emergency last minute booking at Holiday Inn Express. Best decision I made that trip. I came in and Fabian greeted me and took the time to help me calm down. He explained everything super well and gave me clear and concise instructions on how to get to my room. It was the humanity I needed to receive in a moment of pure anxiety. The room was fantastic and clean, the common areas were amazing, and just an overall pleasurable stay. The main fact remains that Fabian and his coworkers are the reason I will be coming back or at least booking holiday inn rooms in the future.”

“Everything was clean and the bed was pretty comfortable. The mini fridge didn't work very well, but everything else was in decent shape. The pool was a nice temperature and the hot tub had a good ambiance.”

“It is a very nice hotel. Modern, efficient, and intentional, designed for functionality rather than the traditional domestic feel. Rooms are a bit small but they serve the purpose. Breakfast was good, your traditional cereals, fruits yogurt, and then scrambled eggs, potato wedges and either baking crumbs or sausage patties. We were there for six days and out of the six, sausage patties were served only once. That was fine for me as I preferred the bacon crumbs over the sausage but I’m just letting people know. They have a fitness center that was decent. Some free weights, an all around Nautilus machine, a couple of treadmills and an elliptical. Yes, I would definitely stay here again.”

“One of the most unique, character-filled places I've ever stayed. They nailed the balance of old world feel but still clean and warm. Staff was friendly, parking easy, great neighborhood. Only potential downside is the bar sometimes has live music that you can hear clearly in the hotel rooms so call ahead if you need a quiet evening.”

“We especially wanted to leave a review for Nicole at the Hyatt, who helped us reserve a block of rooms for our wedding, and was so responsive and helpful throughout. We had some accommodations elsewhere fall through, and Nicole helped us pivot to the Hyatt, no problem. She really helped lessen the stress for the weekend! And then everyone who stayed there had good things to say too!”

“Whoever runs this hotel should be made Manager of the Year ! The breakfast (which I usually avoid) was excellent...actually made me a few minutes late because I stuck around for more. The room itself is so refreshing...the lighting, cleanliness, open clean layout, parking was adequate without a massive hike to the front 🚪. Staff was really courteous and finally it's a good neighborhood...near many restaraunts, gyms, etc. Really well done hotel experience.”

“Stayed at Wisconsin Union Hotel in Madison, and we were pleasantly surprised. From the outside, the rather plain exterior and almost hospital-like entrance didn't exactly set the stage for what we found inside. Once we got off the elevator and reached our floor, the feeling changed completely. The hotel was well maintained, clean, and had a surprisingly upscale feel, with a pleasantly decorated room that made for a comfortable stay. The front desk area and staff appeared to be student-run, but in a very good way — everyone we dealt with was pleasant, organized, and on task. The hotel is a little removed from the core of downtown, but when the weather is nice, it's a great walk into the heart of Madison. Overall, a surprisingly good stay that exceeded our expectations. I'd definitely stay here again. Saluti.”

“I've stayed at this Sleep Inn many times over the past few years and it's always a good experience. Staff are friendly and welcoming, rooms, hallways and lobby are clean. Large walk in showers are so nice. Good selection for breakfast. And my favorite part, even when the hotel is full it's decently quiet. Quality equipment in the fitness center, although I do call it the fitness aquarium because the large windows to the hallway make everyone who walks by look at the people working out. Well definitely stay again.”

“After a very long day of travel we checked in with Queen who was so helpful and got a very clean, nicely decorated room. The lobby was comfortable and a great social vibe. The bartenders Keenan and Krista were so friendly and even served us a drink even though they were closing for the night. The warm cookies at check in were the cherry on top! We will be back the next time we stay in Madison!!”

The neighborhood surrounding is not bad, but it’s also not good. Every restaurant outside of the hotel has poor service and terrible reviews to match. If looking to dine out I would stay somewhere else, nothing against the hotel, They were great.”

“I didn’t expect much from a best western, but all things considered I would recommend if you don’t have any better options. I had to change rooms immediately because toilet didn’t flush. My new room came with drain flies, house flies and a terrible moldy smell. Housekeeping changed trash and towels daily but only made my bed once after the first night of a 4 night stay so that was weird. But I have to stay the staff were all helpful, accommodating, and prompt to address any need I raised and the room was clean, quiet and bed was comfortable. Convenient location if in town for Epic/Verona and lots of chain restaurants and fast food around if that’s your thing.”

“The Extended Stay Hotel is great for people in a pinch financially or those who travel for work. The rooms have a full kitchen and furniture as well as an on site laundry room that does cost extra. However, management is doing wonderful with up keeping of the facilities and handling any issues may they arise. The hotel does allow pets I have not had any issues with that. The facility could use some more modern renovations. There is not a pool at this location and the gym consists of an elliptical, treadmill, and stationary bike. Location is West side Madison right off the Beltline and within a couple miles of shopping and entertainment. Overall, for what you pay and the kindness of staff i give this hotel 5 stars as it is what it is advertised as.”
