“I shop in thrift stores because I like to find gently worn clothing that doesn't look like this seasons trend. I shop for myself, not to resell. This is my new favorite resale store. Friendly staff and affordable clothing. On my first visit he clothing racks were full, and well organized, and it was a sale day. I purchased 8 blouses, a fashion blazer, and a cute purse for $22 total! I haven't been very impressed in thrift shops the last several years, and this one exceeded expectations!”

“My go-to local thrift spot. Been diggin thru the Village for 20+ years. They have raffles/giveaways often, fun little events like "Rock n Roll Week", "Superheros Week", etc. Every day of the week, certain items are half off. Like all thrift shops, sometimes you get crazy lucky, other times you don't. Bring your earbuds, jam out and be prepared to dig.”

“Awesome people. Giving hearts. A good Sunday ministry and lots of community events and activities offered thru the week!! Tonight’s activities for the community were awesome. Saw a lot of smiling kids and their families. In addition Captain Eddie has the heart of the community in mind too!!”

“Let's start with the volunteers who work there are industrious and helpful and sometimes I am surprised to find some fresh produce and food like breads, with other good things.”

“Nifty thrifty is absolutely amazing! The staff are very nice and they sometimes give deals on my purchases. The prices are very reasonable. Like for tiny items having a 25c-5.00 price range. The employees and/or the manager are changing the store quite a bit in the back which causes me to forget where some certain things are but it doesn't cause a huge issue. I've never tried donating before but I assume it should be pretty easy. Don't mark my word. I love that they give free teddy bears and books for children by the check out. Everything is pretty organized and they have certain places for certain things. The cute furniture for displaying items is also set up really adorable.Amazing!”

“Highly recommend for shipping. I shipped a heavy but delicate item from Goodwill of Racine Wisconsin and they wrapped and bubble wrapped and taped everything so that my item arrived unharmed and in pristine condition. A++++ seller! Goodwill Retail Services, Inc. is a treasure to us.”

“I want to brag about the young man that checked us out. His name is Jordan and he is very friendly and courteous. I believe he had a brace on his leg and was still on his feet and just as professional as he could be. It’s been a while since I have seen an employee who really seemed to enjoy his job and actually addressed the customers, rather than just ringing up their stuff and looking miserable. In my opinion, this young man should be acknowledged.”

“What a great shopping experience! Welcoming staff, well lit, very clean, organized and a great selection. Prices were unbelievably reasonable. The Christmas decorations section was filled with like new treasures and many toys for the children to choose from. I'll be going back soon to see what new items show up on the shelves. Great store aligned with a great charity!”

“Date of visit: August 17, 2023Centered in large strip mall with plenty of parking.Very large, clean and organized store. Huge inventory of items all organized very well. Prices are comparable to Goodwill these days. Considering the huge inventory they have, a sale or lower prices could move more stuff out so they could bring more items in, thus making more $$. They have mostly clothes, but also hard goods, furniture, kitchen, appliances, electronics etc.. i did not see any outlets to test the electronics. Items sold as is.Beware shopping the breakables (dishes, glasses, etc) as I found several items broken, or with huge chips; items that should clearly be thrown out.The store was quiet; not a lot of shoppers. I don't know if that is normal, or it just happened to be this particular day.Cashier was pleasant, not overly friendly.”
