“It was great. The pool was cold for me and my grandson. I didn't think my hot tub worked because I have never been in one. The towels were covering the button to start the jets.”

“We absolutely love our family at the little gym! Mrs. Kate and Mrs. Emma are always so amazing and full of energy and know just how to get our class moving! Thank you for all our laughs and good times!!”

“PlayN is fantastic! We love to bring our toddler here to play and try out all the equipment. She's too young to play on all the big playsets, but they have a custom toddler set that she absolutely loves. When we are ready to pick out our favorite things to build in our backyard, we know where we'll go! We will continue to recommend to others to come and play!”

“I attend Blackhawk Church, and we use the Upper House for our downtown location. We were formerly using the Magestic Theater. A little trivia: The space the Upper House occupies use to be a Food Court.”

“My group travel company, sewgreat tours, stayed last weekend at the hotel. I have been in business for 30 years and this is the best welcome we have ever had; they even brought out the red carpet. I would highly recommend this hotel. The rooms are big, the beds are so comfortable, breakfasts we're great and different everyday. They have golf clubs for their putting green and basketballs for their basketball court. The staff is very accommodating. The hotel is next to a hyvee grocery and a target.”

“Beautiful Historic Hotel with nice rooms. Very pleasant staff and a big Thank You to Judy. She went out of her way to make sure my friends and I have everything we needed...even some tools to work on a motorcycle. Breakfast was delicious and our server was excellent. They truly deserve more than 5 stars. Can't wait to come back in the fall.”

“Lots to do! We chose the mini golf, but we will be back for more fun. They had batting cages, foot golf, mini golf, and MORE! The full service bar was great. Although we didn't get food, it looked and smelled good and you could see right into the kitchen while they were preparing.”

“Gordon was my saviour during my Masters time in Madison. As a new international student who knew very limited cooking, I would have my lunches and dinners at Gordon’s. There are many options to choose from. Quesadillas were my favourite go to. There are also stir fry, egg corner, burger and fries options. You can also make waffle, get a drink, make your sandwich, take fruits. There is a discount if you are a student and paying using your Wisc ID card. There are also tables and charging plug points in the dining area. I also used to do my assignments there after having meals.”

“Ruby is a very unique venue. Its classy but at the same time down to earth (literally its underground) The bartenders are always great to be around and the security staff is second to none.”

“I saw Gereth Emery concert with some friends. Paid extra for the vip area. Thanks to Ben, the general manager, for all the help/information. Well worth it for a little more space and quick access to the bar. Table service was offered, but necessary for our small group. The concert was great and so was the venue! Definitely will be back.”

“Horrible service!! Stay far away if you want helpful or kind service. Stay away if you want to throw a party with kids! If you are an employee well you will be able to throw a party and make noise but if you are a child or attending a birthday party you will be thrown out without any type of communication or requests from the front desk about complaints. Nope they will ally employees to throw parties and make noise but will not allow a young lady enjoy her 12th birthday party. Oh and if you think that they will work with you think again. They will lock you out of your room without your belongings! STAY AWAY. Horrible horrible customer service!!! I’m applaud as to how theses kids and mothers were treated at this party. So sad from a place that suppose to be family friendly”

“I can't say enough about our stay this past weekend. At first we were disappointed that the hot tub was out of order, but the staff went above and beyond to provide us with other solutions. First, they called other motels in the area to see if they had any rooms available, which were not quite what we were looking for. We decided to stay put, so the front desk clerk provided us with free vouchers for the Bistro (which was delicious), and located another hotel a short drive away, where we were welcome to use their hot tub! They also discounted our room for the inconvenience. Problem solved, and we were very satisfied with the result! The room was spotless, and the nicest stay we have ever had! Thank you - we'll definitely be back!”

“This was an unexpected delight. We had visited a somewhat dingy college spot before this and they weren't serving beer that day, so we did a quick search and found Smittys. Took us a second to realize it was inside one of the buildings. But we were able to find it and the reception desk told us how to get to the pub upstairs. The pub is small and cozy in the best of ways, with a view of the capital building. The cheese curds here were among the best we had on our entire trip, but we didn't get to try any proper entrees since we'd eaten already. If this were my hotel bar, I would've gladly hung out here all evening with a book.”

“I have been working with this Marriott to host some of our company's meetings, so I won't be reviewing anything about a stay and have no real insight on sleeping rooms. I will say that I have always had a wonderfully pleasant experience working with the event staff. Maxwell in particular has been great. He is friendly, professional, super responsive, addresses all of my questions or concerns, and I feel confident my meeting is going to be taken care of. Any catering has always been on point. If we were missing anything we needed in the room, the staff are readily available to get it. Any other interactions I've had with any other staff (front, bar, etc.) has always been pleasant and welcoming. Long and short of it, I'm happy if I know I get to plan something at Madison Marriott West.”
