“Just started going there after going to another shop in Waunakee for years and not being happy with them more recently. I’m so happy I made the switch! Vern is so kind, easy to talk to, and so knowledgeable. He takes the time to explain the issues that are going on with your vehicle and is patient. His staff also seem to know their stuff, and are friendly as well! So far, 10/10”

“I've been relying on Handel since I moved to Wisconsin approx 5 years ago. My 2014 Chevy Cruze has had a host of minor issues that handel has fixed for me very quickly. They do a great job. I'm not an expert on pricing for car repairs, but I'd say Handel are incredibly fair. Most recently I had to drop off my car after hours to get the window and side panel repaired the next day, and they managed to get it done by the afternoon. Very greatful to the skilled mechanics at Handel. I will continue to be a repeat customer until the day my vehicle crosses the rainbow highway. Lol!”

“Went in for a rotor brake pads replacement and a preliminary 60k mile check. Their pricing was at the average price point, provided me a very thorough breakdown of all major components of the 60k check, and their customer service and auto service were both exceptional. Nice to find a shop like theirs, I will continue to take my car here for any future work.”

“August 2025, stranded in Madison with 2006 Sienna transmission completely dead. DAVE. Made sure I made it to dealership with my trailer, and got me a slot days ahead of schedule to start the replacement with a used transmission installed 8 days later. Received free rental Sienna, and Dave kept me updated with repairs and costs with pictures. Definitely a seasoned mechanic that made a difference in our trip, otherwise that van would have been a loss. Wife & I want to thank Dave & Smart Toyota for their exemplary service. God Bless Jim & Wendy Fiala Downey CA”
