“Just came back to search out Sue. It's been over twenty years since my sessions and still adore the pieces we came up with. At the time we even did a raku fire that made breathtaking pieces. She was fun and extremely knowledgeable. I wish all the pottery I had attempted 😂 was as amazing as what I created there!”

“We just stayed one night at Muse Gallery Guesthouse and it was fantastic! The space was perfect for our group of 4 , super spacious, with plenty of room to spread out and relax. It really has that warm, homey vibe that makes you feel instantly comfortable.

The private parking was a huge bonus ...so much easier and stress-free than hunting for street parking in Milwaukee. They have a big lot, so we never had to worry about where to leave the car.

Everything was clean, comfortable, and the amenities were spot-on (great beds, nice kitchen setup, thoughtful little touches everywhere). We had an absolutely wonderful time and are already looking forward to coming back the next time we’re in town. Highly recommend!”

“The art here is both high quality and very accessible. It's the sort of place that will be appreciated by an art connoisseur, but also someone who has never set foot in a gallery before. Absolutely worth checking out!”

“The owners are friendly and knowledgeable. This is a great place to visit even if the art is out of your price range - you might discover a new artist whose work resonates with your tastes. They also occasionally host free events which are fun and informative.”

“I have used South Shore Gallery & Framing for a handful of posters and pictures. Shelly (owner) does quality work, and the materials won’t break the bank.

Shelly is a true professional. She took the time to listen to what I wanted (and what I didn’t want). She worked with me to find the right matte and frame for my posters/pictures. It’s clear that she truly wants the item to be perfect for me. Plus, she is easy to get along with - she is a nice human. I have been extremely happy with her work, and I will continue using her framing services above all other options in the greater Milwaukee area. (Attaching photos of two posters she framed for me.)”

“If you need a special gift for a loved one then look no further. Wonderful customer service. They even will gift wrap beautifully too. I was able to give someone a gift that was so special and meaningful that it brought them to tears. If you are looking for special pieces made by artists, each hand picked, then shop Atypic Gallery and Jewelry. They always have new items and I love supporting this local shop, a female owned business, that is owned and operated by the same sisters since 1985! Shop local for the holidays. Shop women owned businesses! ❤️”

“Went for an Alcohol Inks painting workshop. The shop itself is very cute and cozy with a small town/country feel. Organized disarray that makes exploring more enjoyable, making little discoveries.

The people are so warm and welcoming. The workshops are small so you get good instruction and attention when needed. Instructions are clear and come with an associated demonstration before you try it yourself. We started by testing the ink colors and consistency on a scrap strip so we could know how they would look and react as we used them in our actual paintings.

We painted three pieces altogether. The first one is not as good as the others as we were learning techniques for working with the inks. Once you have that first one under your belt, it becomes easier to blend and manipulate the inks on the next pieces.

We really enjoyed this workshop and will definitely be doing more here.”

“What a wonderful shared studio space. Such a great way to build a supportive network. The public can visit, purchase local artwork, take classes. Gallery Night is especially fun!”

“Chris is a very responsible jeweler. Chris was more concerned with how he repaired my wedding band than selling me a replacement. Chris is a pleasure to deal with.”

“I have had several pieces framed by Maureen and every single one has been exquisite! She takes time to understand what you have in mind and she collaborates with you to come up with beautiful work. She understands that if something is worth framing, it should be framed with care.”

“Art in a historic Milwaukee home. Mr. Barnett himself welcomed us.
It is the place to procure orginal works for your home or business. Three floors of beautiful eye catching art to view or buy.”
