“Deshawn truly cares about customers. We were greeted as soon as we came in but did not feel pressured. He did not follow us around the store like many salespeople do at other places but instead just let us know he was there when we were ready. Once we did have questions we explained a unique situation to him that required very specific dimensions. Instead of throwing his arms up he checked with the store manager to find an exact fit in our dimensions and budget. We ended up closing the sale right on the spot.”

“I went into Grand Appliance on Layton Avenue knowing the size and features I wanted in a new refrigerator… And Alex knew just how to find it! Within a couple minutes he narrowed down the field and showed me my choices. I got a couple discounts and I was out the door! The whole shopping experience was painless. I've been skimping on my furniture for years, so I had completely mis-budgeted for how much real furniture costs but the staff here worked with me and I found something that met my needs. Unlike the budget furniture in the past, looking at my new dresser I'm not disappointed by the quality either. Delivery team was friendly and efficient too.”
“Bought new foam for our camper mattress here. They recommended a nice mix of firm and soft to meet our needs and had it ready in a couple days. Very friendly couple of brothers running the place, we talked at length about skiing, hiking, and travelling out west. Two thumbs up, if you need foam they're here to help you out”

“Hands down the best furniture store anywhere! They have better reviews and prices than steinhafels, bobs discount furniture, colders, and ashleys furniture!!!! Not only was Liam the owner courteous, genuine, professional, and kind, but he went above and beyond for us. He had a 4 or 5 day golf trip in lake geneva and drove back to brookfield in the middle of his trip to help deliver our sectional. We didn't expect that at all. We could have easily waited a couple more days but Liam did that for us. I have never heard of a furniture place doing that. We will only be going through Midwest Discount Furniture for all our needs from here on out.”

“Augi was very helpful in talking us through the points of various mattresses. He demonstrated for us (he operated the remote while we lay in the bed) what the fanciest adjustable base does. (I had never heard of one!) He checked the website of the mattress brand we picked and found us an even better sale. Delivery will be Tuesday, 8 days from now. When we asked if the delivery guys would be willing to haul our old bed to our basement guestroom, he assured us they would (and that they'd appreciate a tip). Definitely recommend.”

This store has the best variety of furniture , sofa’s , love seats, recliner, different type of fabric, leather ,tables , bedrooms, dining table, etc., at great prices. The staff are incredibly patient, supportive, and always ready to help. A wonderful shopping experience every time!”
“Showroom was bright, clean, and cool on a very hot summer day. Found a mattress that was right for us, even better they had one on clearance! Apparently it was a return on their 100-day bed guarantee but the price was so low we had to give it a shot.
At about 2:00 in the afternoon, sitting on a mattress in the showroom, no pushy sales people, easily ordered our mattress online.
The next day, two awesome delivery guys showed up, took the old mattress at no cost, and delivered the new mattress at no cost!
We gave the mattress a thorough search for any signs of wear damage or anything out of the ordinary, as far as we can tell the mattress appears to be brand new. Zero complaints.
Free next day delivery AND free disposal of the old mattress?!?! Great deal all around!

“I bought my mattress here and the staff (Mike was my guy) were very helpful... not just in terms of mattresses but getting to know the city.I will say this, always make sure you check 2 stores or more before buying a mattress. (You don't want to miss out on a good deal that may last you 2 or more years!)That being said, this is a local store where they make the beds on the spot. Pretty cool right?”

I went to verlo first, they have a Huge selection of pillows. The guy was kinda stiff. He told me they don’t take returns or exchanges. I asked what if I don’t sleep well? He said if it’s comfortable in the store it will be the same when you get home. I said “you never bought high heels then.?”
So I went to “look” at sleep number and I got two new pillows that I love! It was like laying on a bed talking to an old friend. Dana made me feel so comfortable and didn’t push anything. Was very chill. I highly recommend her! Great customer service! My only complaint is they have a NFL pillow for display but they don’t sell any NFL(Packers) stuff. ?”
“I could not have been happier with my purchase. To be able to go into the showroom without a salesperson watching you try out mattresses and walk around with you was really great. My delivery was scheduled for a Monday. I received a text message and email regarding my delivery on Sunday evening. I had a question about the time, so I called the number listed in the email. An actual local person answered the phone. She was able to give me an answer to my question - on a Sunday night! Extremely happy with the delivery guys - fast and friendly.
