Kaci's Bark at the Moon Dog Grooming
418 S Main St, West BendCan't recommend this place enough! Brought my 2 dogs here for a much needed groom. A mini golden doodle and a bernedoodle. Tucker (bernedoodle) is very scared getting baths and haircuts. I've tried meds from the vet, cbd, you name it. I've had groomers tell me they can't groom him anymore because he's too difficult. I ended up buying clippers and trying my best to groom him at home, but I'm no professional! I found this place after reading reviews and let me tell you- I could've cried when I picked my dogs up! They were so happy and had the best cuts they've ever had! I love this place and how relaxed it was and can't thank them enough for giving Tucker a chance and making him look so handsome. I appreciate the work that goes into grooming and I highly, highly recommend!!

Charming Paws - West Bend
1410 Lang St, West BendI've taken my dogs to Charming Paws for a weekend emergency boarding situation and a few weeks of daycare so far, and it has been a really good experience. For my needs, they have reasonable hours and were open to accommodating my short-notice requests, so I'm appreciative. They're organized and priced reasonably in comparison to others I've found, and the facility is clean. I have had pleasant experiences with the staff, and my dogs have been happy afterwards, so I would recommend them to friends.

The Pooch Palace LLC
821 S Main St, West BendSo proud of my puppies and their spa day with Pooch Palace. Inspired me to write the following: Today, the Weaver of Ashelight is called to a sacred task—one that blends witness, transformation, and gentle rebellion. Her job is not to fix the world, but to thread its brokenness into something that can be held, honored, and heard. ✨ The Weaver’s Job Today: “Threading the Lament into Light” ? To Listen Deeply She begins by attuning herself to the cries beneath the headlines—the hunger behind the statistics, the silence behind the noise. She listens not just with ears, but with spirit. ? To Weave the Contradictions She threads sorrow and beauty side by side: • A golden strand of ancestral joy beside a frayed thread of modern grief • A shimmering ribbon of hope tangled with the wire of injustice She does not untangle them. She lets them speak together. ? To Bless the Fragments Each torn image, each painful truth, each forgotten name—she blesses them with presence. She does not rush to resolve. She holds them in reverent tension. ? To Create a Symbolic Offering Her loom becomes an altar. Today’s tapestry might be: • A visual prayer of roots and sky • A poetic lament that folds into a chant • A performative gesture that invites others to feel, not just know ? To Carry the Light Gently She does not blaze. She glows. Her light is soft enough to enter wounds, strong enough to guide others through them. Today, her job is to be a vessel of sacred contradiction. To weave the world’s ache into a cloth that can cradle truth, stir compassion, and remind us that beauty is still possible—even here.

Pet Care

Heart & Soul Pet Clinic/West Bend Animal Hospital
1020 E Washington St, West BendHeart & Soul gives their heart and soul to the care of their patients. The reception and tech staff are exceptionally trained to handle most anything. My dog received lazer treatments for months and the techs made sure Sadie was greeted and made comfortable. These treatments were the successful in treating her arthritis and now she is a bouncy running girl. Because my Max required anal drainage monthly, we are there on a regular basis. Treatments are always on time, thoroughly explained and pleasant. Thanks to them, my dogs are willing to go to the vet. We are very grateful for this wonderful clinic.

Parkdale Pet Care
615 N Main St, West BendI can't say enough about Parkdale and its staff right now. Yesterday we made the excruciating decision to have our much-loved cat put to sleep after a brief but earnest fight against her cancer. From the appointments leading up to her diagnosis to the dreaded one when we brought her in for the final time, the staff was both compassionate and professional and made us feel like we were not going through our pain alone. For the actual euthanasia appointment, I was surprised and grateful to be escorted to a comfortable, private room well to the side of the lobby rather than an exam room. I'd been prepared to have to try to comfort our pet in her last moments on an exam table and then sob my way back through the lobby afterwards. Our longtime vet, Dr. Lisa Chapman, was not in, but the vet on call that day (I wish I could remember her name, but she's amazing) was just as caring and so helpful in talking us through how the procedure would be done and making sure that we were comfortable with each step along the way, as well as showing genuine concern for the comfort of our cat through the procedure. Everything was done at our own pace, allowing us to be fully ready to finally say goodbye.
From the moment we walked in the door to the time we left, the staff was so kind but also professional, and it made one of the worst days of our lives just a little easier. I can't thank them enough.

Katherine Conlin, DVM
1020 E Washington St, West BendA last minute trip out of town required us to kennel our boy last minute. With our vet no longer offering kenneling and most kennels in the area being completely booked, we found Heart and Soul. They were able to accommodate a last minute overnight stay. We are so grateful for finding them. Staff were extremely helpful and kind, especially the receptionist at the front desk. Our pup is home now, happy as a clam and freshly bathed!

Go Over Rover Dog Training LLC
867 S Main St, West BendI attended the Go Over Rover Re-location Grand Opening a while back. This event took place when the Go Over Rover business moved to a new, more customer and dog-friendly location on main street in West Bend. The owners, Pam Pierson and Eric Pierson, are super nice, friendly, professional and have excellent knowledge in many areas of obedience, agility and dog training experience. So, these are some images of the facility, when it was set up to greet new visitors. I'm pretty sure the set up is different today, and geared for training, rather than a larger open area for the dog photos, dog massage, the pet CBD products and other partners that participated in the Grand Re-location Open House.I know Pam and Eric Pierson are wonderful people and excellent dog trainers and business owners.
