“The real test of a local mechanic is what he or she does with a customer who has no real choice I had a flat tire very near this place, and had heard from a friend he seemed good. I was ready to buy a new tire, but he said it only needed an inexpensive patch up and I was on my way in less than a full day (I got stranded after hours). He's not that far from where I work, and my regular mechanic has a foot and maybe a knee into the retirement door so I expect I'll be back. He's not far from a stop on the 80 county bus.”

“My name is Steve Lin.Recently I visited REIS twice, for oil change and for a major repair (starter was broken). I had a great experience all around. All the people work there were friendly. They were very honest and were fairly priced. About six years ago, I tried to replace a battery by myself. It looked very simple but turned out to be a trouble. I broke a mounting screw and couldn't remove the broken screw. I drove to REIS. Duane quickly fixed it and didn't charge me. (But I insisted to pay for labor cost). They are very nice, very friendly. I highly recommend REIS Auto to everyone.”

He was very patient with me if I had any questions. Also when I picked up my vehicle it was washed and cleaned even the inside was detailed. It looked as if I had a new car! “I am so pleased with the quote and services provided by Matt's. I own a Volvo XC 60 2016. I love my car and always wanted a VOLVO, so I take a great care of my vehicle, never missing mileage service and am always hesitant to take it anywhere, but the Volvo dealship, as it is fair to say I have trust issues. However when I discovered no heat was blowing into my car and took it to Volvo Waukesha dealer, after running diagnostics ($200), they told me the HVAC Blower Motor needs replacement and quoted me close to $3K. At this point I knew i had to get another opinion. I called Matt's (google search with great reviews) and explained the issue. They immediately quoted me a little more than half of what Volvo wanted, so I decided to go with them. The day I took my car to Matt's, Dennis said he wanted to look at it first as he was doubting the HVAC Blower Motor was gone. Later the same day I got a call from Dennis who told me it was my lucky day, as they only need to replace a resistor, which was going to cost me a little over $500 and the HVAC Blower Motor was working just fine. It was such a relief to hear, and the best part, my car was ready for pick up the next day! I just discovered my go-to car shop for life! Can't say "Thank you" enough to Matt's entire team!”

“Since moving to Milwaukee almost three years ago, I've had trouble finding an honest and affordable mechanic. Through a friends recommendation and reading the reviews online, I found this place in Bayview and decided to bring in my truck. Now this isn't the most glamorous looking shop by any means and you often have to call the shop when you arrive because they don't have a receptionist. However, Julio the owner and his team of mechanics are very knowledgeable and honest. The pricing is extremely fair, often times half or less than half of what chain auto shops like Midas charges. I went in because there was a squeak/chirping noise coming from my truck and I was certain it was a pulley. Midas wanted to charge $1000 for parts and labor, Julio did that and more for $230. It turned out to be two pulleys that needed replacing and the serpentine belt was replaced just to be safe. I will be returning next time I have an issue and will tell all my friends about this place!”

“We took our Class C RV in for an emissions test around 11am on a Tuesday. We waited in line for less than 15 minutes before the female tech ran our test & approved our paperwork. We will definitely bring our other vehicles to Montez. One note: they do close during the lunch hour so make sure to arrive either before noon or after 1:30. Also, if the weather is bad they are unable to complete the test because it is done outside of the shop.”
