“Didn't get inside, but cheaper diesel and better quality than what we got in Kemmerer on the way up. I made the mistake of assuming diesel and fuel in Wyoming might actually be less expensive than in Utah. My oops!”

“This is The Million Dollar Mall! A great little place to stop by & check out the outside old-school trinkets & the neat animal & tool displays we have covering our walls. We are like a Western Walmart without as many options lol. Known now for our propane refilling station & the hardware, plumbing, & sporting sections, but we also have some electronics, general merchandise, clothing, some housewares, & a thiftstore section. Come by & check us out!”

“These poor gals/guys have to see me at my absolute worse "post-school" drop off of a crabby preteen and have nothing but nice things to say and that's so appreciated!! Nice clean place and glad the "mini mart" is still kickin!! Keep kicking butt and taking names y'all!! I'm a returning customer after 20 years and I'll be a customer for life!! Good job!!”

“Somewhere out in God's country, more or less halfway between Jackson, Wyoming and Green River, Wyoming... Is the little town of Big Piney. Like many of the small towns in Wyoming, there's not a whole lot to it, other than good folks enjoying a slower and maybe quieter life than us whack jobs from SoCal. The US-189 is one of the more desolate roadways in the United States, traveling through the high Prairie of Wyoming... Not a whole lot out here if you're looking for city, but plenty to see if you know what to look for. If you're feeling peckish, thirsty, or the old gas gauge is heading towards E, you'll be grateful to find a gas station like this one. Pretty easy in and out, even with a trailer, and prices that are a heck of a lot cheaper than what you're used to paying in California. Lousy gas taxes... Inside, they have the usual selection of snacks and cold drinks, and the guy behind the counter wasn't much of a conversationalist, but friendly in that smile and nod sort away. Especially with your California plates and wearing a mask featuring Rick Astley. Yes, you know who you are. We flew right through here a few months ago on our way from Yellowstone to Moab. Quite a journey for one day, but nothing that if your gas fill ups could not facilitate. I was glad to find the station when I did, topped off the tank, stretch the legs, and maintain our southbound and down out of town. Until next time Big Piney...”
