“Was traveling through Wyoming as I do every week and my reefer fuel filter had gelled up. Called the guys at the shop and were able to get me right in. The service writer and tech who took care of me were some A 1 guys. Professional and timely. Had me in and out within 45mins of arrival.”

“If you're a truck driver, get your fuel, shower and some beef jerky and keep trucking. ABF has most of the parking lot leased and while the restaurant is beautifully appointed, when I walked in the bartender looked at me like I was there to clean the toilets.

Now, if you're look for a super classy place to take your lady for the weekend (and maybe sneak in a round of golf)... welcome home.

From the second you walk in the door this place oozes ambiance and if you could forget about the wind that never stops blowing in Cheyenne, you'd think you were in the Poconos.

Everyone is super friendly and there to help, just like you'd expect from a place of this caliber. The giant penguin is super cool. The food is probably top notch and should be at that price point, but I grabbed a $6 beer and peeled out to be with my own people. (Truckers)”

“My husband and I enjoyed our stay here. We were able to recoup from a long day of driving in a comfortable, quiet room. Our guest bathroom had a shower and tub option for personal preference.
The guest laundry was incredibly helpful, and it was complimentary. As our clothes were being laundered, we were able to catch a decent workout in the fitness center.
Definitely a good place to stay, and we look forward to staying here in the future when back in the area.”

“The service is good, the beds are not very comfortable, what is very good is the breakfast, that is the best, the price is good.

Rooms: They are small, the bed is an armchair, a microwave, refrigerator and TV, and you don't even use it when you're passing by.

Safety: Very good

Walkability: If you can there are stores around to buy food and sodas and juices

Food and drinks: They have a restaurant and they have a bar too.

Noteworthy details: Very spacious and the price is very good, the service is very friendly.”

“This is the most beautiful historic hotel. I’ve been to by far. From the moment you walk in to the moment you check out, everything was smooth, and the customer service was great. They have beautiful stained glass ceiling in the lobby of the solar system. This hotel was known as the gateway to the west it was the first hotel to have phones in every room and has the longest running freezer in the United States. I love the location because it is in downtown. Close to many restaurants bars, arcades coffee, shops, and many other activities. I will definitely be coming back when I visit Cheyenne again. Thank you to the wonderful staff at the historic Plains hotel”

“This was a great experience! All of the staff here are very kind, understanding, caring & professional. They work hard to help customers & keep the place nice! The coffee & muffins are delicious & the room is very nice & clean. They are remodeling a lot of this motel, I was very impressed when I walked into the room. They are dog friendly & work to accommodate any of your needs, the per day, weekly & extended stats are all very reasonably priced. We felt very safe & happy while staying here. We were on an extended stay. 100% highly recommend staying here. Very family friendly!”
