“This gas station is located along US-191 in Farson, WY and consists of two regular style covered stations with two hoses per station and next to them, another three (uncovered) diesel fuel pump stations with the same configuration. Collocated with the station is a small convenience store and the Farson Feed Store. The staff at this station were very friendly and helpful, nice folks. However, make sure to take a few minutes to get a photo taken atop the friendly brontosaurus dinosaur, which even has a saddle on it. Then take a moment to check out the historic cabin, built in the early 1920s by Chris Juel, which was originally located in the Big Sandy Openings of the Wind River Mountains. The ownership of the was passed on to the Magagna Family in 1952 and in 2001, the cabin was moved to Eden, Wyoming.”
“We traveled across the state in our RV, need a resting spot in our rv and the city park behind the Mercantile was wonderful! The utilities had been shut off for the season, but our dog had a great grassy green area to run, and the ice cream s real treat! Truck stop across the road was busy but traffic slowed after 10pm got down to 28° but no snow. Great rest!”
