“We found this art gallery while walking the streets of Jackson Wyoming. It's not the easiest to find, across from a great hotel, just one block off Broadway. We were first met by Sofie, the gallery doodle. Once inside, we were treated to some of the most beautiful and impressive art we've ever seen. Linda, the owner, was very friendly and answered all of our questions competently. We look forward to our next visit.”

“This gallery features the stunning photography of Thomas Mangelsen from all over Wyoming. From animals to scenery, this display of art perfectly articulates the beauty of some of the most beautiful places in Yellowstone and the surrounding area. The gallery includes both an upstairs and downstairs. Stop by for a walk through—you won’t be disappointed.”

“As a New Yorker visiting Jackson Hole for the second time, I made sure to return to Kismet Rug Gallery—and once again, it did not disappoint. The customer service is absolutely exceptional. The team is warm, knowledgeable, and genuinely passionate about what they do, making the entire experience feel personal and enjoyable.

The gallery itself is breathtaking. It’s not just a store—it’s a space filled with beauty, artistry, and rich cultural heritage. Each rug tells a story, and the collection is curated with such care and style.

I highly recommend Kismet Rug Gallery to anyone looking to make their home feel both warm and stylish. Whether you’re decorating a new space or adding a unique touch to a room, this place is a gem.”

“Jackson Town Square is probably the most recognizable part of Jackson, Wyoming, and it has changed enormously since I first started spending time there as a kid.

As the author of Jackson Hole Hiking Guide, I’ve spent a huge amount of time exploring the valley and surrounding mountains, and the town square really acts like the central gathering point before people scatter toward the Tetons, Yellowstone, trailheads, ski areas, and the rest of the region.

My family moved to the area back when the square only had a single antler arch and only Broadway and Cache Street were paved. Jackson still felt much smaller and rougher around the edges then compared to the version most visitors see today. Watching the town grow while the square stayed at the center of everything has honestly been interesting.

The square stays active year-round with festivals, local events, tourists, live music, and nonstop photos under the arches. At this point I’ve probably taken hundreds of pictures for random visitors standing under the antlers over the years.

As the author of 50 Jackson Hole Photography Hotspots, I also appreciate how visually iconic the square has become. Between the antler arches, mountain weather, snowstorms, and seasonal lighting, it’s one of those places that looks completely different depending on the time of year.

One of the most entertaining events is the Quick Draw during Fall Arts Festival week. Artists have about 90 minutes to paint or sculpt pieces live before the artwork gets auctioned afterward. The entire square gets energized during the event and it turns into a really fun atmosphere.

After years of writing The Grant Colson Thriller Series, I’ve realized mountain towns with strong personalities like Jackson naturally influence setting and atmosphere in subtle ways.

I still catch myself slowing down around the square even after all these years.”

“Glad we stopped by. We stayed next door at the Flat Creek Inn and the gallery looked pretty unassuming although there are some great sculptures outside. We figured we’d spend a few minutes in the gallery but ended up looking at all of the rooms and took around 45min-1hr.

Jeff, the son of the main artist (Wilcox) was very friendly and welcoming. The sculptures and paintings are all pretty stunning. While they might be out of my price range it was fun to study the detail and artistry by Wilcox and the other featured artists.

If you’re going to the Nat Museum of Wildlife Art, I highly recommend stopping at Wilcox before or after your visit! Some of our favorite sculptures ended up being at Wilcox rather than the museum, although the museum is massive and a must see with lots of great historical pieces and context. The museum also has some pieces from the same artists as the Wilcox, so if you like the museum then the gallery is a great accompaniment.

Didn’t get a chance to check out the downtown Wilcox II gallery before they closed for the day but they do have several huge beautiful sculptures in their parking lot right next to the town square so there was still something for us to check out.

Thanks again for the nice time Jeff!”

“I had a wonderful experience with this local framing company. In the recent past, I have sent some art to those specialized online framing companies that are supposed to be well priced and efficient. However, I prefer to go to Full Circle Frameworks. From the start, they were incredibly friendly and took the time to help me with design choices, offering thoughtful suggestions without ever being pushy. I really appreciated their expertise and patience—it made the process feel collaborative and easy.

The turnaround time was on the longer side, but that was clearly communicated upfront and completely expected given the quality of the work. The final result was absolutely worth the wait. It’s refreshing to find a local business that combines fair pricing, great design guidance, and genuinely kind service. I wouldn’t hesitate to use them again and highly recommend them.”

“When visiting Jackson, WY - please go to Brookover Gallery last. Why? You need to see what everyone else has to offer to understand craftsmanship and true high quality art looks like. There will be plenty of other places passing off framed photos in sets of 200 out of 900 for thousands of dollars. But going into The Brookover Gallery will help you begin to understand the value of limited prices that are carefully crafted.David happened to be in the ship when we weren’t which was a real treat. Hearing his personal life story, the story behind each picture and the process of making the art was surreal. He is charming and thoughtful with a surprising amount of humility for a master craftsman.David aims to please. We went through his work more than once, including pictures he recently got back from a development team in Scotland. Where else can you get that kind of attention? Certainly nowhere in Jackson.I encourage you to look at his most rare and precious works that he does in silver or even platinum/palladium. The richness of the work along with the uniqueness of his total delivery with precious metal inlays just adds to the overall flavor. This is a great spot for someone looking to invest in art. Of course I didn’t leave without buying my first piece. Sadly it will take weeks to get in my house, but we’ll worth it. Thanks to David and his team behind the scenes. I can’t wait to aggregate more pieces!”
