The Center for the Arts is a fantastic venue within walking distance of downtown and hotels. The building is very nice and the bar is great. It hosts performances like Leftover Salmon and Old Crow Medicine Show, as well as Off Square Theater and Thin Air Shakespeare. The staff and volunteers are really nice, helpful, and kind. It accommodates events in its spotless auditorium. A farmer's market is held on the lawn on Wednesday afternoons. It is well worth a visit.

OK. Im new to the area (1 year). I have been told 3 different shows. Can't say enough about this place. Small. Great seating. Great acoustics. Can't wait for the next show.

It would be good if the CFA sound staff would give the speakers a quick refresher on how to use a hand-held mic. For example, Mr, Simpson held it at chest level and kept turning his head to the side, which made for very inconsistent sound.
