“We rented two e-bikes this afternoon to head up to Jenny Lake inside Brand Teton National Park, park and lock them at the Visitor Center, take a shuttle boat across the lake, then make the short hike to Hidden Falls before returning. Gunnar (from Oviedo, FL) took the time to be sure our helmets were properly fitted and comfortable, as well as thoroughly explain the switchology on the bikes.

The bikes themselves were clean and in great shape - like new. Cole and Garrett also helped get us on the road, bringing us insulated water bottle sleeves and covers for the saddles.

Once into the park, my wife turned on the electric assist (much of the ride to Jenny Lake is gently uphill) and I was determined to ride the bike without assist and the derailleur worked perfectly. But the e-bikes are heavy and the altitude here for sea level Floridians makes a long gentle uphill stretch longer and steeper, so I gave in from time to time. The electrical assist function worked perfectly, and although there’s a more energetic “Active” mode, the normal ECO mode was more than enough power to supplement pedaling.

All in all, this was a great afternoon at a fair price on good equipment that came with great service.”
