“Conveniently located near several hotels. Friendly cashier inside without an attitude. How refreshing was that? We paid $3.69 for regular, bought some to-go snacks, used the restrooms and were on our way.”

It smells nice which is usually unheard of in gas station bathrooms. The staff are extremely friendly. The inventory is well stocked and organized. The parking lot is clean. This will be our Rock Springs go-to when passing through.Thank you for an unexpectedly fantastic experience!”

“We stopped on the our way to Jackson Hole for gas and bathroom pit stop. Greeted nicely from the lady clerk, she was very friendly to talk to. Restrooms were by far the cleanest from San Diego to here. Highly recommend stopping for a quick pit stop.”

“This fueling station saved myself and 2 college roommates in December 1992. Picture three passengers in a Toyota Tacoma (not the extended Cab version ?) on a Denver to Park City Road Trip. It was a Sunday evening, pitch dark with no moonlight or stars to speak of. Many miles prior we had driven past an Exit where there was a gas station, but being originally from Massachusetts where there is a gas station at each exit about every 5 miles, I didn't give it a second thought. Such an error in judgment caused us to watch in agony as no Exit with services was in sight as the needle on the Fuel indicator creeped lower. We drove approximately 50 miles on "E" and the last 20 miles well below "E." Had there not been a decline in road grade upon getting off the Interstate, the Tacoma likely would have stalled and we would have been destined to transfer to Western Wyoming Community College.Instead, the clock on the Tacoma's dashboard illuminated "10:00 PM" and we all were screaming with part elation and part terror, as we coasted down the hill of the I-80 Service Road, hoping those store lights did not go dark as we approached. We promptly parked at the pumps and ran into the Store where the lone Employee was experiencing a momentary lapse in his evening boredom when these 3 college kids from Denver, at least one of them not competent to estimate fuel efficiency in relation to Geography (which would be sad, if not hilarious, that Yours Truly was in fact a Geography Major), began instructing this puzzled Clerk how the rest of his life would play out should he have any plans to shut those pumps off! In retrospect, a lesson not quite learned by any of us: when seeking assistance from another, more honey than vinegar proves beneficial. This unassuming Clerk simply said, "I haven't begun to close down," and gestured positively toward the pumps. He, being likely the same age as us, could have just as easily told us 'to go pound sand,' as all prerogative and power sat with him behind the counter. Being so pleasant and helpful eradicated our anxiety. I know I tipped this Clerk as if I was as affluent as the families of my fellow travelers.Had we run out of gas that evening, it was highly likely a good Samaritan would have helped us somehow or someway. You folks in Western Wyoming are just some kind of friendly I have rarely come across in three decades hence. Many thanks! [please accept this late expression of appreciation, as the Internet was only an infant in 1992, and thus Google reviews wasn't even a concept]GODSPEED”
