Decent Canadian Tire. However, I don't understand why this store does not allow dogs on leash - all other CanTire stores I have been to all over Canada allow well-behaved and leashed dogs. With this policy, you force customers to leave their dogs in their car when it is +30 in summer, or -30 in winter.

About ten days ago I dealt with a young lady at the customer service counter. Roman is her name. At one point she consulted with her manager about my inquiry. Romans manger was older, baldish guy with a European accent. Both Roman and this gentleman were great and solved my problem.Yesterday I returned a product that broke down after 5-6 weeks. Again I dealt with Roman who provided exceptional service. My product was replaced. She deserves a raise. Ken….Whitehorse

As a hardware store, it falls on its face for basically never having having the size of bolt or nut or screw you need to finish your project, but as a small town housewares and department store, they do pretty well.Loses stars for low quality stuff and for ditching the firearms counter, gains a star back for having the best loyalty program and long hours.

I had to change my wiper blades. Argh! I have a VW. I dreaded returning to Canadian Tire today because the one blade I bought yesterday was the wrong size. I couldn’t figure it out, it was cold, wah wah wah! Doug at the service desk was great! I changed my part at Customer Service and those gals knew their stuff. Then, as Doug said, I rolled up to the bay door, honked my horn and the job was taken care by two really fun and friendly guys who got the blades on. It’s a VW, so it wasn’t easy, but the whole team was great! Thanks you guys!! You all made my day!

Canadian Tire needs to clean up its site. Forcing French on everything, and not translating to English. Even English was requested, still got French. What the hell is going on⁉️⁉️⁉️⁉️

Quite okay. Though usually a busy place. If possible, it's better to go there in person than calling

The usual Canadian tire store. 80% in stock. This is a very big store with a large inventory. Very clean and well lit. The cashiers are friendly and easy to deal with. And a plus is ,no self checkouts.

Overall good experiences. Sometimes the cashiers are not the friendliest, but a good store anyways.

Clearly don't get the concept of making more money if they would restock popular items more often. Don't have read caps for. 2007 Ford Focus? Seriously? What good is the parts department if it can't go back 16 years. Even less because that cap was used on newer models. The people in the shop are good, but the company is absolutely ridiculous.

Rating: ★★☆☆☆ (2/5)Reviewed by: [Micheal Wylie]Canadian Tire in Whitehorse, Yukon Territory, is a well-established retail store with a broad range of products and services. My experience at this location, however, left much to be desired.Product Selection and Availability: ★★☆☆☆While Canadian Tire is known for its diverse product offerings, I was disappointed by the availability of certain items. Several times, I found that items listed online as in-stock were unavailable when I visited the store. This inconsistency in product availability hindered my shopping experience.Customer Service: ★★☆☆☆The customer service at this particular Canadian Tire location was subpar. The staff appeared disinterested in assisting customers, and finding help when needed was a challenge. Moreover, inquiries about products were met with vague responses, leaving me feeling frustrated and uninformed.Store Layout and Organization: ★★★☆☆The store's layout is reasonably organized, making it relatively easy to navigate. However, some areas appeared cluttered and disheveled, making it difficult to locate specific items.Cleanliness and Maintenance: ★★★☆☆The cleanliness and maintenance of the store were generally acceptable. The aisles were reasonably clean, and the overall appearance was well-maintained.Conclusion:Canadian Tire in Whitehorse, Yukon Territory, falls short of expectations in several key areas. The inconsistent product availability, lackluster customer service, and occasional disorganization detracted from the overall shopping experience. While the store has some redeeming qualities, there is significant room for improvement in various aspects to enhance the customer experience and earn a higher rating.

My one tire was flat before Teslin, there was no tire service nearby,so I nervously drove 200km to Whitehorse to get fixed. I was concerned it couldn't be fixed or no new tire. The first shop was not open on the long weekend, and the second couldn't repair because of big hole. I tried to get an new one at Canadian tire, they had one and they told me I had a warranty for it, so I only need to pay $47 for labor instead of full price ~$300, what a surprise ?. I never used any warranty before. Just want to thanks for those stuff for helping me out. It made my trip easier.

Canadian Tire is sort of a combination of an automotive center, hardware store, and housewares center. The shelving is dense and when I come to one of these stores, I decide what I want to buy and then find the associated aisle locations.I recently had a little extra time on my hands (and space in my suitcase), and decided to shop for a few things that had been on my Target/Home Depot list back home. I stayed away from any toxic liquids and stuck to a few light items of which I thought was well priced (including currency conversion). I purchased an extra Canadian tire bag, tied it in a bow, and had it fit nicely in my luggage. My relatively short shopping trip (after a 1.8 km walk from the hotel) was efficient and with good service by store staff.
