“Overall I have had a very positive experience renting from Landing while avoiding the messiest phases of a home renovation. The apartment is in an excellent location and nicely appointed with comfortable furniture, an impressive array of kitchen equipment (pots, pans, utensils, etc.), solid tech (smart TV and wifi), soft linens, and even basic cleaning supplies. To increase the odds that you’ll have a good experience, I’d recommend the following:
1) Be prepared to communicate primarily by text and the app. Though Landing lists a phone number and email address on their web-site, I only had luck when reaching out via text and the app.
2) Search the interwebs for Landing coupons. When I first joined Landing, it was easy to find an online coupon that more than covered the first annual membership fee.
3) Only rent apartments that have actual photos available on Landing’s web-site, so you can be confident that your preferred unit is actually “live” within Landing’s system. This approach also ensures that you have a clear sense of the furnishings and, perhaps more importantly, the view, which can vary from brick wall to parking lot to skyline.
4) Research apartment complexes of interest through Google reviews, yelp, etc. No complex is perfect, but some are better than others, and you can dodge some sketchy options with a little extra leg work.
5) Double-check the math. Landing’s business model is incredibly complicated, as taxes and fees vary by duration of stay (the longer you stay, the less it costs per month), apartment complex (some charge parking fees or pet rent, others don’t), municipality (taxes and lodging fees), etc. Though the mistakes were minor relative to the entire cost of my rental, I did save some money by catching billing errors, and the Landing staff was gracious when made aware of glitches in their system.
6) Plan to arrive during weekday business hours. Landing has a knack for losing keys. You’ll increase the likelihood of a smooth check-in if scheduled at a time when the apartment complex staff will be on-site and can provide a spare key if Landing has misplaced keys to your unit, as they did with mine.
Despite a few quirks, Landing offers an innovative and valuable service, facilitating all-inclusive (wifi, utilities, etc.) rentals of nicely furnished apartments. Yes, they charge significantly more than you would pay for renting on your own, but for some folks, the ease of being able to show up with just a suitcase is worth the extra cost!”

“I moved in last month and I am very pleased with my unit, the staff and management. Princess was so nice and helped me to get everything ready for move-in day and I even had a nice welcome gift. It's been a month and I've only had a couple of requests for my unit, but when I tell you they be on top of it, I mean that. I barely hit send on my requests and they were at my door taking care of care of my requests (but literally within hours). This is how professionalism looks.”

“I’ve lived at Moretti Apartments in Homewood, AL, for just over a year and have had an excellent experience. The staff is consistently respectful and easy to communicate with, which has made my time here very enjoyable. I’ve resided in both a 2x2 and a 1x1 unit, and I’ve loved both of my units. The gated complex provides a strong sense of security, and the peaceful environment is a real plus. The pool area is beautiful and the gym is nice and redone. I’m truly going to miss Moretti when I move back to my home state in a few months. There is a great mix of people and ages here. Highly recommend!”

“I recently moved into The Kenzies and it was such a smooth process! Jameria was the absolute best to work with! She made sure to contact me with unit availability, she made sure to check in on me while dealing with family matters even BEFORE I got moved in! That is what ultimately made this decision to move here the easiest. She let me know she was here for me, regardless of being a current resident or not. Since I’ve gotten moved in, I’ve had 1 maintenance issue and they were out in a few hours to fix it! The apartment is VERY spacious and I love the renovated features! It gets no better than the Kenzies! Very quiet, scenic area.”
“Just moved here from leeds it much bigger and nice than my former apartment where I live for 8.5 years being on the ground floor is awesome no stairs for real its hilly so I'm careful having two bathrooms is wonderful I finally got my own bathroom after sharing a bathroom for 8.5 years where I used to live well kept better than where I did a little pricey but worth it but what isn't expensive on 280 tho I hope to be able to live here as long as possible having a pool and a fitness center is a plus”
“The apartment itself is beautiful, and I had a positive experience with the leasing office during move-in. However, living here has been disappointing in terms of safety and community standards.
I’ve had two packages go missing from the package room. I went to retrieve them just two hours after delivery and kept checking daily — but they were never found. This raises serious concerns about the security of the package room, which I never expected in a community like this.
In addition, many residents do not clean up after their dogs, which makes shared spaces unpleasant. And parking is a constant issue — the lot is often full of cars without resident stickers, leaving actual residents struggling to find spots.
It’s unfortunate because the property itself has lots potential, and is beautiful, also they provided great costumer service, but when safety and respect within the community are lacking, it impacts overall livability. I hope management starts taking these issues seriously.
Update- one month after this review the managements improve significantly to address this issues so now I can give the my 5 stars I am very happy how the office handled the concerns and the issue’s within the community. Highly recommended”

No apartment is perfect, and we are aware of any problems with the unit isn’t their doing, yet they still have quickly took record of any concerns and have been working to make our home comfortable for us.
If there is anything that has made my experience here stand out, it’s Darlene! She’s the sweetest employee and has really provided us assistance and guidance along the way. She’s very knowledgeable and offers great guidance. So far, I have thoroughly enjoyed my time at highpointe, I will provide a more thorough review once my time here is up, but I would recommend this complex if you are needing a place to live, simple because of the amazing staff!”

“I love it here! I have lived at Tapestry for 3 years and the new management that took over in 2024 is great. They’ve done a lot… much needed painting, pressure washing, installing better hallway and exterior lights that have made it much safer at night, fixed the gates, etc. They also communicate better than any other management I’ve seen. I feel safe here and have loved living here”
“I gave Village Square a 5 star for their performances. I haven't seen the inside of the complex but I have been inside of the office twice. Mrs Terri was at her desk on a call helping someone when we arrived. She asked to help us and she did just that and more. We did my son application on line. She helped my son with his paperwork and created him a folder. She also let us know what was available. I can tell she wasn't feeling well. She managed to take care of our needs and every phone call that came through. She was awesome in doing her task. Everyone that came through that door she made sure they was taken care of. I just want to acknowledge her for a well done job. She held that office down as if she was 10 people. Good job Mrs Terri. Thank you for taking care of us and others.”
“I have lived here for 4 months and have never been happier with an apartment complex. The apartment is huge for a 1 bedroom. I have washer and dryer connections, a built-in microwave, and an ice maker as well. We have valet garbage. Just set your garbage cans outside your door, and after a while, you will have an empty can to bring in. Rent is very reasonable. There is an exercise room which you can use for free (no more gym fees). Each apartment has its own Wi-Fi system. If you are looking for a great place to live, this is it.”
“I have never resided here as a resident tenant but my friend has. Visitation is wonderful, the staff is great In their Professional Business. Management is special at getting repairs done in a timely manner.
However, some tenants need to appreciate the area grounds where they reside. Stop throwing unwanted paper onto the grounds. Also, visitors need to take the same thing into an account. The cleaner the area the more inviting the complex will be daily.
But, managers do a great job of taking care of the yards. Tenants should do the same thing.”
