The Hassinger Daniels Mansion Bed and Breakfast is a beautiful, gorgeous old Victorian style mansion that offers a unique stay. Guests describe it as like stepping back into the 1800s, with a turret-style grand staircase, stained glass windows, historical artifacts, and antiques throughout. The home features a wrap around porch and beautiful grounds with a gazebo, though there is no outside furniture. The suites and rooms, such as suite 8 which includes sleeping inside the turret, are described as wonderful, with plenty of room. The king-size bed is very comfortable, and the furniture and corner sofas make the place feel cozy and inviting. The house is very clean and felt safe, located in a very nice area. It offers a great Airbnb experience with all creature comforts attended to. The location is very convenient, making grabbing food and drinks easy, and includes a refrigerator for guests. Parking is manageable. While most find everything clean, some notes mentioned isolated cleaning oversights in certain rooms. The furniture is more modern but made to look older. The location is convenient but very busy. Overall, it is considered really good value, a great midweek getaway, and a definite must for visitors who love historic homes.
Beautiful restored and quiet Victorian bed and breakfast in five points. The owners did an amazing job saving this little piece of Birmingham history. I can’t believe the guy who built this place was only 35 at the time. One of Birmingham’s original steel barons.
