Best place you can go in Birmingham for quality fish that my wife, and I have found. Great pricing as well as sales every now, and then. They won't push anything on you that you do not need. Their tanks are absolutely pristine. I can't complain about anything in regards to this store. These people are hobbyists, and enthusiasts.I believe the reviews relating to "rude" staff members may be a misunderstanding. They are very knowledgeable, and don't want to send you home with stuff that will absolutely destroy your tank. They're also very busy. This hobby can be a mental nightmare. They know their stuff so trust them. If anything they are more then patient. I talk way too much, and my brains all over the place running 250% all the time because of ADHD. If they can help me they can for sure help you :)”
“We have been customers of Pet Stop for over 20 years, with 3 different dogs at 2 different homes during that time.We have always been pleased with the service we have received. Most recently, I was assisted over the phone with syncing a collar to our system without having a service call to the house. That was successful, & I’m not tech savvy. When service men did come out on another issue recently, they were both polite and completed the work efficiently.I am thankful to have Pet Stop in my area.”

“Had what I needed. The cashier was very sweet and personable. She took an interest in my cat (based off what I bought). She seemed to enjoy her job. I wish I had gotten her name but she was working at the Grove location in Hoover, AL on 2/23/26 in the afternoon. She has brown long wavy hair. Good customer service can be hard to find these days but she nailed it. I hope you will let her know.”
