The Westin Birmingham is a hotel that offers a mixed experience for guests. While some reviewers praise the hotel's great location, with easy access to nearby restaurants, entertainment venues, and a new football stadium, others have encountered issues with the room quality and amenities. Several guests have reported problems with the beds, including them being uneven and showing signs of wear and tear. The bathroom facilities have also been a source of concern, with issues like slow draining sinks, moldy grout, and damaged fixtures. One reviewer even mentioned a ripped fabric on the bottom of the bed. However, the hotel has also received positive feedback, with one guest describing a "very quiet and peaceful stay" and another mentioning that the hotel was "very clean and felt new." The staff has been generally praised for their pleasant interactions, and the hotel's amenities, such as the bar, coffee shop, and pool area, have been well-received. Overall, the Westin Birmingham seems to offer a decent accommodation option, particularly for those attending events at nearby venues. While the room quality may vary, the hotel's convenient location and friendly staff make it a viable choice for many travelers.
Their breakfast croissants are great and the strawberry mint refresca is really great.

Great place to stay for an event at the Coca-cola Amphitheater. Free shuttle to the venue at the end of the block. Multiple restaurants just outside the door. Beds were not the most comfortable for my preference but may be fine for others. Plenty of towels in the room.
