“My husband and I had our reception at The Florentine in June and everything was perfect! Will West, the event coordinator, is very trustworthy and works so hard to make your dreams come true! The venue is gorgeous, and the food and cake are the best I’ve ever had at a wedding. We still get compliments about it! The Florentine takes care of the food, service, alcohol, cake, decor/setup, and florals, so it’s so easy to only have to communicate with one person about all of this.
I wish we could do it again and look forward to the next wedding we go to at the Florentine!”

“Our group had an AMAZING time at Meet on Morris! We attended a private dinner where Chef Adam (owner of Join Together Catering) prepared four amazing courses with wine pairings! We got to sit at the bar and watch him work while eating, drinking, and enjoying our friends and family! It was a great location- beautiful, clean bathrooms, easy parking, and a view of the train passing by! 10/10 would have any corporate or family event here! And ask for Chef Adam to make the MOST of your event!”
“My organization hosted an event at the Harbert Center on 12/27/25 for approximately 250 people, and a good time was had by all. Ms. Wright and her team did an excellent job taking care of our guests. The food was great. The sound system support the band and wait staff was very attentive.”

“I have actually been to this location on a few occasions. The events are always really nice and beautifully decorated. Most recently, I attended an end of the year holiday mixer that was put on by the Hoover Area Chamber of Commerce. Parking at this place quickly fills up so I was glad to see that they had a shuttle from a church that is located down the hill taking people up to Hoover Randall Home.”
“I worked with Courtney and had the most wonderful experience having my rehearsal dinner in the Bottle Room. It fit 42 people perfectly for a seated dinner. It felt warm and inviting yet spacious and open. Courtney was a joy to work with and ensured all details were executed properly. The space was beautiful and all of the staff members were courteous and personable. My parents are very particular about their coffee and the staff joyfully accommodated them. There were some extra special touches that set off the evening and my husband and I felt special and loved. It was an evening we will never forget!”

“The nice lady that takes care of this gallery helped me out with getting pictures for my art project by using her own phone because mine had shut down and I didn't have a charger. That was very sweet and helpful of her. The art displayed here is also very nice, although I don't know if it's pricey or not because I don't know what they normally sell for. That was the first time that I went to an art gallery and it was a very nice experience to say the least. Do check them out if you're in the area.”
“My family and I had SUCH a great night at Bowlero! We haven't bowled in a long time and forgot how much fun it is. Everyone had a blast. The facility was clean and orderly. The lighting and the music were ideal. We all had so much fun and I'm excited to go back in the future. I'd like to mention that Lane S. went above and beyond in helping me schedule my event and at the bowling alley, Carla did such a superb job making sure my family and I had everything we needed to enjoy our time. I didn't get his name but the man attending the bar was excellent as well. All around great customer service and exceptional experience. I highly recommend this bowling alley and I hope to go back again.”
“I have attended several events here. Great multi-use facility. Great co-workspace, open and airy. They can accommodate small offices, meetings, product introductions, and celebrations. This space is central to downtown Birmingham and within blocks to the Civil Rights Museum , Kelly Ingram Park and 16th Street Baptist Church. Numerous eateries , Barbershops and Health & Wellness spas and stores. Modern decor. Management is top tier I would recommend this space and the team here.”

“As a member of the Birmingham Bar Association and Birmingham Bar Foundation separately, we have fundraisers there. The rooftop is spectacular and the staff is helpful.
The security man watched me walk out to my car during leaving time upon my request. He was so sweet to make sure I was okay, as a solo female at the event in the dark. I appreciate the hospitality of the employees at the Kress Building.”
“For us, it was time travel. Our father was a child, when his father was the first electrician there. They lived in one of the site houses there & played in the river. There is a life size cutout of my grandfather, Scott Herron, & a picture of their whole family, my father included. The museum itself was very informative with lots of pictures of life during those times (late 30's) The staff was wonderful!”

“I’m so glad I bought these tickets for my boyfriend on Valentine’s Day to see the Killers of Kill Tony.We had such a great time—the lineup was hilarious from start to finish. The concert hall at the BJCC was clean and easy to navigate. The lines for snacks and drinks were long, but since it was a short event, we decided to skip them.
Absolutely no regrets! ?”

“Great stay in Birmingham! We had a one night midweek getaway and our suite was wonderful. We stayed in suite 8 and slept inside the turret. All the creature comforts were attended too and everything was as expected for a stay in a guest house. Thank you for easy instructions and booking!”

“Nice spot I've been in the inside. This particular event was held on there back which I never knew was back there. Outside bar and all. This was very very nice. I'm thinking bout doing my party outback. Smoking was not a problem ?. Can't judge food the food was supplied by the person giving the party. Nice lounging chairs and table plenty of seating.”

“What a wonderful weekend treat. From friendly and helpful check in with Patrice the weekend kept getting better. Breakfast buffet was excellent. But dinners at Brock’s were beyond outstanding. Filet you could slice with a butter knife, fresh fish, creative sides, and good wine list. Our server Ashley was phenomenal. Helped with recommendations, provided friendly and professional service. We chose the 2nd night to sit at the Chef’s Table and watch the kitchen staff do their magic. Rob, one of the serving managers was awesome, answering our myriad questions and again was friendly and professional. This restaurant is superb and the staff is terrific. In addition to the wonderful meals and drinks, my wife loved the spa and I played 18 holes on the RTJ Ross Bridge course. Such a great weekend and we can’t wait to return!”

“We recently got married, back in June of this year. And I can truly say it was the absolute best venue we could have chosen. The way the building is shaped to provide space and an open concept allows you to be creative in the way you design your layout. We loved the lighting and the hardwood floors, along with the paintings on the walls, which allowed us to mix that in with our decor. All in all, it was a 10 out of 10 venue that we fully enjoyed.”
