“Mr. Richard made our gas stop so pleasant today. Genuine interactions with strangers, much less gas attendants are few and far between these days. He’s keeping the spirit of humanity alive, one shift at a time. He is the heart of his corporate company. ❤️”

“This station is clean, and the employees are very polite courteous and very helpful. My automobile runs better on Exxon fuel than it does on any other fuel . I drive the extra miles to get fuel from here. I would highly recommend the service station to anyone who needs fuel.”

“I go to this Circle K a lot I have always liked it. The staff is great I wish they were able to build a bigger store and gas station with a bigger parking lot But I understand if they can’t on this plot of land This store and station is important and serves the Lake Forest community well”

“This is the cleanest and nicest gas station around. They also have the best gas station food I have ever tried. The ribs are off the chain, and the chicken on a stick is on another level. On a scale of 1 to 10, I give this place an 11.”

“My favorite gas station to go to other than Buc-ee's. Great selection of drinks & they have glass bottled soda. They've got Black Rifle Coffee. The Krunchy Chicken is better than other locations I've tried. Overall great customer service.”

“When we moved here a couple years ago, there were no gas stations that were kind of close and I really hated it! So having this Circle K open up a year or so ago was super exciting ??. Now we go there multiple times a week. I love the Circle K member stuff that you get for signing up with their bonus point program. You save so much money on gas, which is always nice as we know. They always have sales and specials. And the staff is pretty friendly.them will sit there and chitchat with you and you don’t feel rushed. But with it being one of the only gas stations in the nearby radius, it gets extremely full just FYI.”

“Decent enough Shell gas station conveniently located just off of Interstate 10 in Daphne, Alabama. The gas is competitively priced and the inside has the usual convenience store items. If you want to tie in a meal along with your gas stop, there are plenty of options dining at this exit. All in all, this is a decent enough gas station and I would recommend here.”

“One of my favorite go-to stops!! They carry a nice variety of items unlike most convenient stores. I also enjoy seeing the same smiling faces and saying hello as friendliness is hard to come by these days. Thanks guys!”

“This gas station has been around for 25 years when it opened it had a LA subs restaurant which was good but it didn’t last then came a chicken ( god knows we don’t need more chicken shops) then hot dogs that place didn’t last long. Then about 3 years ago in comes a Taco stand Las Catrinas De Rosy OMG let me say this! Best move ever leasing to these guys not only is it fresh hot and good it’s really the only place in our area where we can get good tacos Birria and Tortas. Kudos to the Shell station for having before sight to let a small business in that actually makes an impact on our community! I will drive out of my way to buy gas and eat lunch here 3-4 days a week!”

“Been stopping here for years and never been disappointed or had a bad experience. They are super friendly, even when I'm on the phone. Not to mention they got some bomb @$$ food too.”
The Iowa retailer, the third-largest convenience store operator in the country, built its new three-year plan around three priorities: store growth, food and beverage expansion, and kitchen technology upgrades. The company plans to add 120 stores during the current fiscal year. Its previous plan, launched in 2023, delivered more than 500 new stores and earned the company a spot in the S&P 500.

The truck stop company will upgrade its stores through its Strategic Remodel Initiative, which started in 2022. This includes the modernization of its recently acquired turnpike location in Stroud, Oklahoma. By 2035, over half of Love's 655 stores will be either new or updated.
Read the postTexas-born Buc-ee's is changing the way people think about gas stations and convenience stores. This chain is known for its huge stores along highways, some with over 100 fuel pumps. With its funny billboard ads, award-winning clean bathrooms, and branded items Buc-ee’s is hard to miss. The company wants people to actually plan to stop at Buc-ee's during road trips, not just go there as a last resort. And it's working - the chain has a huge fan base, with Facebook groups dedicated to Buc-ee's having hundreds of thousands of members.

More locations are planned for Taylor, Warren, and Macomb Township, each employing around 30 people, mostly full-time.
Read the postLove's Travel Stops is rolling out a new system that turns work into a game for its restaurant employees. Picture this: Three big screens in each restaurant, tracking how fast workers greet customers, take orders, and hand out food. It's not just for show - early results say it's making service 11 seconds faster on average. "These monitors track key performance metrics in real-time, such as greet times, order processing times and the time it takes for food handoff," Love's explains. The system creates a more interactive environment, fostering friendly competition between stores.
