“Great location right off of the interstate. We were heading on a 6 hour road trip and stopped to get some snacks for the kids. The store was well stocked and clean. Our cashier was very helpful and polite she even wish our boys good luck on their basketball tournament.”
“I'm new to the area and I went into this Dollar General close to their closing time the other night and there was a clearance sale and the cashier was extremely friendly, did not make me feel rushed and was very accommodating. Her name was Stephanie and I was super impressed with her customer service skills and I wanted to make sure I gave her a shout out on here. Good job Stephanie..Dollar General should be proud to have an employee like you!!”
“This was such a pleasant DG to swing by on a road trip. I didn’t catch the lady’s name working, but she was so sweet and helpful. The women’s restroom was also one of the nicest I’ve ever been in on a road trip- very clean and smelled nice. Whoever is cleaning the bathroom is doing a great job!”

“Decent staff, seems like a lot of staff turnover but, being fair, if you are respectful to them you will get respects in return. Freezers seem to have issues but restrooms are clean and the staff makes the extra effort to get you checked out asap. Not the best selections but I happen to know that's not the staffs fault because I've worked for DG before. Still I like these folks and they always help me. Sometimes they get staff that isn't the best but those people don't stay long. They do the best with the selection they've got.”
“They don't pick up the phone very rude and the price are always wrong on the merchandise. And they want change to the right price. I only go when serton people are working Dee and Tiffany are working and I will our JericaAre her. I only gave 4 star because of the3 that does do there job”
“I give 5 stars to the people only working in the Good Hope, Al & Dodge city, Al stores. If we could give separate company ratings and negative ratings the company would get the largest negative Google maps offered. Aside from that the people are always friendly despite being short staffed, working double shifts or not having off days for months at a time. People get discouraged when they are left at register & the line stretches down the isle to the back wall. Customers get angry & take it out on you & it your new, added bonus never ran a register or never ran one like theirs, even worse. If you page & page for help but it does not come until the line is gone, that cashier will not be back after her break or lunch whichever comes first. No one wants to be thrown in the deep end of the swimming pool when they can not swim!! POINT IS DOLLAR GENERAL DOES NOT CARE!!!”
“I don't give out 5 stars much, it's a FD store so, it's not high end shopping, however it's clean, they are nice when in the store, never had a issue parking. I think those 1 stars possibly prior staff? It's a very convenient area, lots of parking. Only thing is we have 3 Dollar Generals with one being a food store. So I do feel there is over kill with these types of stores in the area.”
“This is a very busy store location so they sometimes run out of popular items. I found that the best time to shop for the most popular selling items is a day or so after the delivery truck makes the weekly delivery. I'm not positive but I believe Wednesdays is when the truck runs? Sometimes there is a wait in line during peak hours but it usually isn't an excessively long wait. The employees there seem friendly and helpful.***UPDATE***This location is still a very busy store. I don't shop at this location often anymore because I have moved. When I have had the chance to shop here though , I've noticed that the store is pretty well stocked each time I visit. I have also noticed that the employees are just as helpful and friendly if not more so as when I used to shop here regularly. There seems to be even less wait time to check out during peak hours as well.”

“The people do their best to accommodate customers, and there is a lot to be said for that. They are very nice people and jump to help when called. The selection is decent but their supply truck, sometimes, I think is sleeping as some supplies take a while to get there ;) And i'm not a person who is "just reviewing". I went to a store within 15 miles and they were getting "too much" stock. Yes, the Dollar General network seems to have "favorites" when it comes to supplying. However, these people do their best with what they have and i respect that, that's what "real" service is all about and i applaud them for it.”
