“Been shopping here about my whole life. It's worth spending a little extra to avoid the big corporate box stores. The meat selection and quality is unbeatable and are fairly priced. Great frozen goods as well.
The only item I don't frequently get is produce and salad bags. The pickings can be slim on quality fruit and vegetables sometimes. I usually stick with other stores for those items but its a minor gripe.
The staff is always friendly and they have their register lines under control the majority of the time. It's nice to go somewhere where you still get a human to ring you up and help with baggage.
Overall well stocked, clean and good sales especially around holidays.”

“Staff is always very nice, usually not a long line. Switched from another big name pharmacy in Gardendale. Has been night and day difference. No drive-through, however that can't be helped because of location. Competitive on pricing if not using insurance or buying rx's for pet.”
“The pharmacist here will go above and beyond to get you the best price on your medication! I can’t recall her name but she’s the cute pharmacist ?⚕️ with brown hair. She helped me get a RX coupon card on a medication my wife’s insurance wouldn’t cover. She didn’t have to do that but she went out of her way to save us some money. Highly recommend. Be patient people”

“I love all Dollar Generals so its hard to single one out. I like the fact that there's always one in almost any direction I turn but mainly because they've got a little bit of anything and everything which is obviously good to know that you never have to drive far to find one!!”
“I gave this a 4 ⭐rather than 5 because there seems to be an enormous amount of stock waiting to be put out & boxes are EVERYWHERE! The staff is AMAZING! They are the nicest of any of the Dollar General Stores locally around in my opinion. I just hope they get the couple of employees there some help soon! I WILL continue to patron this location as I feel like it deserves it! It's a clean Store, striving for excellence with need of more employees!! So please stop by and do business with them if you get a chance!! They have awesome Home Decor that's of really great quality!!”
“I usually don't go to Walmart if I can help it but our power went out and I decided to invest in an inverter and 50ft extension cable. Everything worked how it should have a.d for an 800 watt inverter brand new, I don't think it was over $38 with tax. The cable was about $14 which was a decent price too. Overall, I was in and out, the help to find it was fairly quick, and I was happy with the final price too. I'll be back again I'm sure.”
