“Mr. Tony is a Crestwood treasure! He is always glad to see you and the service is great. A great beer and wine selection (particularly for a corner store), snacks, pantry staples, and even some fresh and frozen grocery items like milk and full size frozen pizza. Nice selection of ice cream pints for that late night craving. Bagged ice and firewood too. Mr. Tony also keeps the most beautiful plants outside of the shop to welcome you in.”

“Always good seafood. Even though it's always a brief encounter, the older black gentleman's positive "up" mood wears off on me! Hard to be negative with a couple pounds of crab legs in the bag!”

“Great beer & wine selection, best in the area. Friendly, helpful service. For the clientele served, not overly pretentious. Some good sales, but prices may be trade off for convenience & service, and knowing your niche.”

“The store was clean and the shelves were full. The employees were helpful and friendly. All Publix stores are peaceful and pleasant to shop at, especially this store. I would love to have Publix in our hometown of Clanton, Alabama.”

“Great neighborhood corner store. The owner is an amazing person, and all his employees are just as amazing as well .. Especially his evening cashier, Star, she brings a lot of business to the store.”

“The isles were all stocked this time and the many times I had come before now. The staff has always been exceptionally friendly and has usually (from the staff I've encountered), attempted to go above and beyond to assist me with any needs that I may have at the time. They seem to have very active and surprisingly visible managers quite often, which I can appreciate.”

“It's 70% of a regular Publix for 130% of the money. Everything is there, just less of it. Dedicated parking in a deck above. Elevator that opens in the store. The street level pedestrian door is sometimes guarded by beggars and story-tellers. This same demographic takes turns using the store restrooms. This isn't an unusual circumstance if you frequent 2024 Urban America, but folks that think were still a polite, logical society might be disturbed.Prices are Urban High but not crazy. The hot food areas are busy.Just, be aware you are downtown in a metro rather than in 'Publix' and you'll be OK. Oddly, the parking deck is never a problem.Yet.”

“We shopped at this health food store last week. They've got a fairly well stocked store with a variety of items to choose from. The particular item we were looking for was out of stock, but the store manager was very accommodating and offered to order the item for me as soon as possible.”

“Aldi is great. You don't have the variety that you do at other stores, but if you can adapt to the choices, it is substantially less expensive. The shopping experience blows wally world out of the water”

“Pastor delivers the Word in a way that keeps your attention / never boring, that people of all ages and backgrounds can understand. Pastor is also very knowledgeable of what he is preaching and can sing very well. All choirs are wonderful- the children, adult, and men. I enjoy every service I’ve attended.”

“The store in Trussville is clean seems to be well stopped and the only two employees I seen in there looked very overworked but we're still Pleasant yes I only seen two women working out line and they put a self checkout line right behind the cashier very awkward and inconvenient in the way”

“This Piggly Wiggly is a typical pit stop during my busy days out. You can pop in for flowers, bandages, or lunch if needed. The aisles tend to be neat and tidy and I usually end up chatting with my cashier at checkout. Their hot bar is also tasty, the baked chicken and mashed potatoes are some of my favs. They also have patio style furniture outside that's nice to eat at when it's warm out. Shopping here is easy.”

“The menu is simple-wings, fish, burgers, & shrimp basics. The service was good. The waiter/bartender was attentive & she makes really good drink. Ask for Snow-The strawberry Hennessey was awesome! The parking is on the streets. There's an outside patio-like area with a tv. This place has a package store/pub style vibe to it with limited seating. They also have Hookah.”

“Would give 5 stars if they remembered to ask you for your receipt, but overall they are better than any of the big name supermarkets nearby like Publix. Prices are close to Publix, with some products being cheaper and they have a good ambience too. They have everything you need except for meat. But, I don't eat meat, so I guess it's really convenient to have it so close to where I live.”

“This store is the neighborhood store and has been in the neighborhood for so many years but now has new owners. They are really nice and kind people that treat you with respect.”

“This is a very conveniently located Aldi for me in Crestwood. If you want the lowest prices on practically everything, Aldi is your store. I came here last week but they were not well stocked. There was hardly any meat or produce so I had to buy a lot of substitutes from my normal go to items.”

4.4 Superb36 Reviews

“I have stopped here several times and always found the personnel to be nice and helpful. Got what I needed and usually cheaper than anywhere else. I buy snacks here, they have brand names.”

I also love the cashiers they always have a good conversion with me I find everything I'm looking for nice and clean and fanatic music. You're gonna sing along or dance a little.”

“Food is very good here. Not a big selection but everything tastes wonderful. Seasoned well. If you are not there by about 2:00 p.m. you won't eat though. The cook in the deli really knows what she's doing. Prices are good. I am never disappointed. Come from east lake just to get lunch here.”

“It's tricky. Some 'farmers' buy boxes of whatever and hang out selling melons from Mexico, tomatoes from Florida and etc. If you see boxes in the back of the truck, that's what's going on. They are just re-sellers.Actual farmers are there in hot weather (duh) when they have produce. THEIR stuff is in grocery bags, buckets, whatever-and they are usually GONE before lunch. Another tip is they LOOK like farmers, and will tell you where their farm is. If you want a bunch of actual fresh stuff, go early and remember where you are. If it's May and you're buying cantaloupes or corn....it is from somewhere else, just go to Walmart. There are a couple of 'markets' on either end of stalls and they are ok and have local stuff IN SEASON but otherwise, Walmart is easier and same or lower price.I'm not a Walmart fan, just speaking Truth. Pepper Place has a decent farmers market IN SEASON (see a trend here?) but it's precious, crowded and generally a pain. It's where the farmer has been forced to conform to saying 'heirloom' and 'free range' to be able to come out ahead. Lot's of folks with pained faces and dogs that are children surrogates. Go early.”
