“Best local grocery store I've ever seen! I wish we had Rouses in Tennessee! They have everything you need and alot you didn't know you needed lol. They have really good prices and great service. We always buy our groceries here when we visit in the Summer.”

“Been using the Publix in Gulf Shores for almost 2 years and I've been very pleased. Yesterday was a different story, tried to buy cherry, checked at least 12 bags and all had rotten cherries. While shopping on isle 9 there was a large puddle of dog urine. I informed customer service.”

“I'm not sure why Target Grocery is a separate listing now seeing as how it's just a part of the Target that's been here forever… No matter, it's worth reviewing because it's a good alternative — but no substitute for — a regular grocery store. This isn't a Super Target but it IS an expanded grocery section. It's not quite the selection of Publix or Rouses but it has most of the staples you'd want to buy for your pantry. The store brand items are anywhere from decent to excellent, and the prices overall are competitive with Walmart's grocery offerings. What knocks it back is the lack of consistent stock, an issue that has existed long before the pandemic upended supply chains. Also, beware pricing shenanigans! Target is notoriously bad about leaving the wrong prices on store shelves. When in doubt, find a price scanner to double check. As an example, they've had share-sized M&Ms listed for $3.99 for all of 2023; they are actually $4.69 when they're not on sale. And fresh fruit/veg is bot limited and expensive because it's priced per unit instead of by the pound. But, if you shop carefully, it can be a LOT cheaper than Publix.”

“Second time in this shop and this group of people are amazing. I will never shop at another store on the beach. It’s like a family environment from what I can see. I highly recommend this place!!!”

“This Dollar General is located directly across the street from Sunliner Diner and just a few minutes away from the beach. I drove passed it a couple of times - it does not have the standard look of most DGs, but more of a beachy appeal. Parking is accesible at the back of the store. It was well stocked, clean and organized during my visit.”

“I recently visited the Dollar General store, and I have to say, it was an outstanding experience! They made us feel welcomed right away. What truly impressed me was how they went above and beyond to assist us. Not only did they help us find everything we were looking for, but they also took the time to blow up our football and float. The store itself was exceptionally well-stocked, with a fantastic selection of items. It was clear that the team takes pride in maintaining the shelves, as everything was organized and easy to find. Each employee we interacted with was incredibly helpful and knowledgeable, making our shopping experience seamless and enjoyable. I will definitely be returning.”

“I decided to visit this store because it was conveniently located closer to the condo where I was staying. I was truly amazed at how extensive the store's inventory was, offering a wide variety of products and even featuring a coffee shop upstairs. Not only was I able to find all the essential items I had come for, but I also took the opportunity to browse through all the souvenirs and eclectic knickknacks they had on display. Overall, I highly recommend visiting the store if you’re in the area.”

“Nice to have a grocery store nearby rather than running into Gulf Shores. Don't always have everything but still nice to have close by!
