“If you are interested in history, Fant's is a good place to visit. It is a department store that has existed in this location since before Sears, Penneys and Montgomery Ward developed the modern concept of department store. The type of goods they carry has changed over the years but you can get a feel for what it might have been like to shop here in 1955. Many generations of local people have shopped here.”

“I DON'T THINK THAT WE COULD LIVE WITHOUT WALMART. THEY ARE AGGRAVATING BECAUSE THEY ARE CONSTANTLY OUT OF WHAT YOU WANT ON THE GROCERY SIDE. AND WHEN YOU GET USED TO WHERE SOMETHING IS THEY MOVE IT SO WE HAVE TO ASK SOMEONE WHERE IT IS NOW. THAT MAY HELP TRAIN THEIR EMPLOYEES BUT IT IS VERY VERY FRUSTRAYING TO CUSTOMERS. YOU CAN BUY SOMETHING THIS WEEK THEN THEY WILL NOT HAVE IT FOR ANOTHER MONTH. BUT THEY ARE CONVIENENT .”
