“In March, my fiancé and I decided we wanted to adopt a cat, so we took it upon ourselves to visit several places in the Birmingham area. We happened to come across Kitty Kat Haven about 10 minutes before closing, and they were kind enough to let us walk through and introduce us to all of the cats. We met the sweetest pair, who were bonded, and thought why not? Let’s adopt them both. Initially, we were disappointed that we could not take them home right away, especially since we felt ready and prepared. However, after learning the reasons behind their process, I gained a deep respect for it. It is clear that the team truly cares about the well-being and future of their cats. You never know what kind of environment an animal may be going into, and their diligence ensures each cat is placed in a safe and loving home. We are incredibly grateful for our two little babies and cannot thank Kitty Kat Haven enough for making the experience so positive. They gave us two best friends, and we truly could not be happier.”

“United Ability held a celebration of life for my sister, Kimberly Williams, who attended UA for many, many years. Kim loved UA, and they loved her. They did such a wonderful job of commemorating her, and I thank them for putting together such a nice service for Kim. She was greatly loved; it was so obvious. Kim talked about Jercolbie all the time, and I finally got to meet him and so many of her friends. He song two songs for her, and they were filled with so much emotion. Days later, I'm still thinking about the celebration and remembering the warmth I felt by everyone. Jill Smith was an amazing friend to and advocate for her; she went above and beyond what he role with UA entails. Mary Roth was so kind and fun, and I know Kim just had the greatest time there. It really meant a lot to see my sister so fondly remembered. They never treated her just another attendee; she meant a lot to them and vice versa.”

They are super friendly and helpful one lady even helped me get my toddler to my car when he didn’t want to leave”
