I needed some charcoal lighter fluid called the store (Love my community Bruce's Foodland) to make sure they had some in stock and Brett went above and beyond your usual customer service.
Instead of saying yes we do, he took the extra steps to tell me the brand names they had available, and also provided me the ounces of the lighter fluids and their individual prices.
His kindness and attention was SO refreshingly nice!

“A very nice lady named Gina worked there this morning, and she was absolutely fantastic. Amazing 10 star customer service even at 4:30 in the morning. I was having issues with my card and was going to be late for work and she helped me out tremendously with an amazing attitude. She was also very nice and friendly to the other customers that were there. Any other person would not have shown the same kindness I’m sure.”

Most people just throw anything together in a bag. They don't care much anymore.”

“I visit this store a few times a week and the staff is always so friendly. My only complaint is not being able to use the internet inside it makes it hard to use the app to look over your coupons & to scan when they have their sales. The other DG's I don't have a problem with this. But other than that it's my favorite store.”

“June 16 2024 Scottsboro Alabama 35768 store. Automotive department. Went in for automotive service (tires installed) and I received excellent service from Nick and Craig. They went over the top to provide great customer satisfaction. Very friendly. Very professional. Very prompt. It was a wonderful experience. Please tell them thank you and that it was very appreciated. I attempted to leave this feedback on the Walmart app but it kept saying "something's wrong" and to try again later. Please let them know they were appreciated. Thank you.

“Stopped at the DG in Powell on my way to Section, couldn’t even walk The aisles, was so cluttered. They had two shopping buggies only and they were stuck together, so I left and went to Section. Section is very well organized and had a wonderful experience, got the items I was looking for with help from a great clerk.!!”
“I've been going here for a while, and this review is probably over due. The people there from Alleta, jordan, Amy and Darlene. And most recently a nice young lady by the name of Hailey. They're always working and moving about super hard and fast. Seem to be possibly under staffed but still manage to meet folks with a smile, and help every customer. DG is the closest store to my house, and having this lineup of staff makes me happy I can have familiar faces and knowledge carrying people help me out. Hailey was super friendly and helpful this past Wednesday and such a sweat person. This store is great, I'm thankful!”
