2937 18th St S, HomewoodI needed a bath today. Did I like it no, but the whole dog market had everything my mom needed to give me a bath. I'm nine, so it's hard for me to jump up in the tub.They had a little step stool, so I could get in the tub.That was about it of my enjoyment. Okay, maybe all the soap stuff smelled good. The scrubby thing that my mom used on my belly was fantastic.But do I like bath day?Absolutely not! If you do NEED a bath day. I recommend going here. It's great for your mom. There's no hair in the bathtub at home. And the blow dryer's awesome.
I give it 5 paws, but it's still bath day yuck.

He’s a German Shepherd and sheds like crazy, so I know he’s no easy task when it comes to bathing, brushing, and grooming. I really appreciate all the time and effort she puts into taking care of him. Her prices are very reasonable too, which is always a plus! And I absolutely love the cute Halloween bandana she sent him home in this time! 🎃🐾 So thankful for her and definitely recommend!

I called the clinic as soon as they opened and they got me in that morning with Dr. Beth Cobb. My dog vomited all over my car on the drive there, the staff was so kind, got me cleaning supplies and held my dog while I quickly cleaned out my car. They got us back right away and did multiple tests. The tech, Summer, was so good with my puppy and very knowledgeable. Dr. Cobb was absolutely amazing, thorough and made me feel like family! I wish I could give more than 5 stars because the Standifer Animal Clinic is the best!

They website warned she is not good with dogs, when I took her home to meet 2 other cats and a dog she was as social as can be. This location is easily accessible from the interstate and the food was ready within minutes, making our stop incredibly efficient! I initially thought this place was a tad spendy but the portions sizes were huge! I wasn’t expecting 4 tacos to go such a long way. My only complaint is that the meat in my asada tacos was cut fairly large and the quality didn’t seem great; I was pulling what felt like every other piece out of my mouth because of silver skin. I loved the elote though!

For my birthday this year I decided to have a dinner at the Pizzeria with my family. As it was a rather large party, I reserved it a couple weeks beforehand, which they were more than happy to accommodate. It was on the patio so the weather was perfect that day; not hot, but not too cool yet. Eileen and Gracenn were our servers and they were the best! My family had a wonderful time!
If you’re looking for good pizza and/or casual Italian with fantastic service in Homewood, Pizzeria GM is hard to beat.

1830 29th Avenue South Suite 175, HomewoodOk, so I’ve been to SoHo Standard for brunch many, many times and it is my absolute FAVORITE dining experience in Birmingham. We stopped in yesterday afternoon for some cocktails and they were having a happy hour. It was absolutely incredible! We enjoyed the feta dip and the bacon wrapped dates. Delicious and you cannot beat the price!!! I was wishing that we didn’t have a dinner reservation for later in the evening so that we could just eat there! The drinks were also fantastic. I had an espresso martini and a Moscow mule. One of the best espresso martinis I’ve ever had. Stephanie was our server and she was amazing! Super sweet and attentive. I cannot want to go back and try more off their happy hour and dinner menus!!!

I stopped by for some street tacos and few months ago and was sold on the 1st visit! This week, we tried something different, the Mojarro Frita! It was fantastic! I highly recommend this restaurant:)

Midday lunch reservations are easy to secure via Resy. The owner Joshua was in the restaurant when we visited in the fall. He is nice and willing to share his path to establishing the eatery. We had chicken enchiladas and a taco plate. They were not the biggest plates but taste pretty good. The tortillas are made in house and that helps. You can see views of the equipment used to produce them. The house margarita is about 10 oz for $10 anytime of the day. It’s not bad and there is a separate bar if you want to hang out and catch a game.

They also have a really good draft latte. Plenty of tables for 1-2 people but fewer options for larger groups. Caveat is a super solid coffee shop in Homewood and I would highly recommend stopping by!
