Creekside BBQ
1020 Oak Mountain Park Rd, PelhamWe drove all the way from Florida after hearing good things about Creekside BBQ, and it absolutely lived up to the hype.
The Alabama white barbecue sauce was outstanding...creamy, tangy, and one of the best I've had. We lucked out with their $1 smoked wings special, and they were incredible with just the right amount of smoky flavor.
The pork belly was excellent, but the real star of the meal was the brisket. So many barbecue restaurants miss the mark by serving dry or tough brisket, but Creekside absolutely nailed it. It was unbelievably tender, juicy, and packed with flavor. You can tell they know exactly what they're doing.
Even the sides were memorable. The feta potato salad was fantastic and complemented the barbecue perfectly.
If you're anywhere near Birmingham, or even if you're driving through Alabama like we were, Creekside BBQ is well worth the stop. We'll definitely make it a tradition whenever we're passing through.

I ordered the pizza, and the cracker crust was absolutely spot on—crispy, flavorful, and exactly how a good thin crust should be. They also have a huge selection of craft beers, so no matter what you’re into, you’ll find something worth trying. If beer isn’t your thing, they’ve got a full liquor bar too. Great atmosphere, friendly service, and definitely a place I’ll be coming back to the next time I’m in town.
