Indian Springs Animal Clinic
1583 Cahaba Valley Rd, PelhamI was very impressed with the expertise, professionalism and knowledge of Dr. Gaddis and his staff. When I left with my dog after dental surgery, I felt confident that he had the best care and the time that was taken to explain his after care, left me confident in taking him home (a one hour drive) and continuing his care. I highly recommend this place for any dental surgery.

Creekside BBQ
1020 Oak Mountain Park Rd, PelhamHad dinner at Creekside BBQ last night. We had a pulled pork plate and the 2 meat plate (pork belly & spare ribs) both with their collard greens and very cheesy Mac-n-Cheese. It was all delicious and the spare ribs were the best I've ever had! The staff were so friendly and attentive. It was so relaxing to eat out on the creekside patio. We frequently eat there and it's consistently delicious! Highly recommend everyone to eat there.

The Beer Hog
2408 Pelham Pkwy, PelhamOne of my favorite spots in the area. Bartenders are friendly and get to know their guests. There are typically 67 or so taps with a wide variety of different types of beers, ciders, seltzers etc. They also have a good selection of bourbon and other whiskeys, in addition to other spirits (rum, gin, tequilla etc.) They also have retail beer/cider/seltzer in cans or bottles, including limited edition releases. This is an excellent place to take folks who want to try different beers, or settle in with some of their favorites. If I had one request, it would be to have fries on the menu!Dietary restrictions: Celiac: They have gluten free pizzas, some dips, and I believe salads that are gluten free. I've been eating/drinking there for 4 years and have never had an adverse reaction. It's definitely the place in town to go and have a cider or a seltzer. You're not limited to just High Noons or whatever canned stuff is out there. It's the craft experience for those with Celiac too! Can't recommend enough.
