“I have lived in Hueytown for Years and this is the best I’ve seen this store it’s usually no staff and product everywhere this new manager has it clean and staffed so my shopping experience is great! When I see this store location closed for any reason I understand that Dollar General expects these people to work alone for hours and it’s unsafe or they aren’t able to get their lunch if they are there alone and the customers in this area are very entitled and inconsiderate of the people who work here I hear customers complain about the music even when none is playing the customers should relieve the workers when they need a lunch or call out since they built this specific Dollar General brick by brick and maybe when issues arise in the store and customers call to complain instead of holding a company that feeds off corporate greed and pleasing stockholders they hold they people who are doing the absolute best with what they have I pray this manger doesn’t quit she’s the best this store has had in YEARS!!! Dollar General doesn’t need better employees they need better customers who will fight for and with them not against them. ?
Union reps save these employees DG employees NEED a Union!!!!!

“This weather is pretty funky and unpredictable. So it's not feasible financially or otherwise to use the heating system one day and a day later turn on the air. So we went to Ollie's to purchase a small heater for those chilly nights. Price wise, they can't be beat. They had a decent selection and nationally known brands. Pleased to say the least.
**RETURN VISIT: Found a great deal on foldable storage ottomans, faux leather for 12.99. Just what's needed in my guest bedroom. Elated!!”
“They had these pajamas 2 piece with the button up top and shorts with the ruffles. To cute and soft. I found one set here but the other sets at other stores. I bought my first set in Huntsville were they had all the sets in different sizes. I tried to find different sizes to buy for others but couldn't find them. I might go back to Huntsville or try to find them online.”

As far as the owner, they have never offered me a dime, discount, go to hell, nothing. “Managed to get in the door to buy a few things before close but I didn't realize it had gone past closing time. The staff could have been friendlier as I stopped briefly to respectfully interact with the staff but no someone was holding the door wide, silent, giving me a death stare.
Is that what "showing someone the door" means because I've seen friendlier door-stops. And I though introductions to a means to enter of exit isn't usually so subtle lol.

“Dollar tree was good found every thing that I was looking for and then some good shopping cashier was so friendly and nice I learned somethings that I didn't know about pretaining to receipts.”
“Kikstart is awesome! They have a lot of items that are heavily discounted. There are household items such as lamps and bedsheets, personal care items such as soap and toothpaste, and much more!
There is also a food bank. They give you a bread, a dessert, and a shopping bag of meats and frozen items! They run the food pantry starting at 9am, however there was a big line so I would come between 8 and 8:30 to get in line. Food pantry is on Tuesday and Thursday mornings every week. You can get a bread and a sweet every day though!

“I go to these dollar general almost daily sometimes more then once a day when trying to skip a Walmart trip I usually always find what I need the staff is friendly and usually knows me by name I usually get right in and right out.”
“This Dollar Tree really amazed me. It was stocked well and one of the neater ones that I've been in. There were actual stockers on the floor while I was there. Each $1 Tree is different. I found some nice little treasures at this one. The cashier was most pleasant. The stock guy, they called on him 2 or 3 times. He knows his store. He either walked straight to it or knew he didn't have it. The line was long and another cashier opened right up.”

“This store is usually busy in the afternoon/evening and rarely has more than 1 cashier. I still choose to go to this one even though the other D.G. in town is closer to my house. Its shelves are never fully stocked, I've pulled up mid-day and the doors were locked and no one was around. Don't believe the hours posted online and race up there at 9:30pm thinking you're going to make it. This store CLOSES at 9:00pm EVERYDAY!!”

“The young lady that works there usually I see her in evening time when I go in. She is very nice an sweet young lady always make sure to greet you as u come in. Unlike the older woman that works there kind of seems like a manager or someone in charge. She is always on her phone when she is checking people out she has her earbud in and is always talking on the phone instead of paying attention to her customers. Other than that pretty good place.”
