Old Town Stock House
410 Old Town St, GuntersvilleI eat at OTSH about 3 times each month. Their menu changes slightly throughout the year but offers a nice variety of meats, birds, and seafoods. They have a nice variety of non traditional appetizers not found at other restaurants. Escargot is my favorite “go to”. Service is impeccable almost always. If it gets really busy, sometimes the staff can get overwhelmed by unusual requests like two utensils for sharing appetizers or desserts. Bryan is one of the staff standouts. My hearing is less than ideal so acoustics and restaurant noise can be a deal breaker for me, especially if I’m with a friend. Noise has never been a problem. Matt is the bar keep and really knows his stuff. I submit that OTSH is living proof that “you get what you pay for”!
One last point: always call or text ahead for reservations.
