“I love this pharmacy. The difference between here and the one we used to go to is night and day. My old pharmacy had 3 people working most days, where I see upwards of 6 people working this one at all times. Prescriptions are filled quickly and the pharmacist is always available to answer questions.
HOWEVER, the pharmacy drive-thru area is horrendous. The way it was redone is awful. It is nearly impossible to turn the curve in a way that you can pull your car up close enough to not have to pretty much get out of your car to get your medicine. I wish it would not have been redone.”
“We only do pharmacy, which is great. Definitely more than just picking up pills, but they are always very willing to help with medical information. We get our shots here and occasionally use LabCorp here.”
“I love Krogers. They have great plans to choose from( much like wal- mart- but Much Better!! I like in person shopping bc I like to look over the produce I get. Plus, they send out coupons to use each month as well. On Fridays, they offer 4x the points to your card, and 4x if you buy gift cards. So, I always puck up a Krogers gift card to use on my visit! They always have some type of buy5 save $1.00 on each thing going. Plus, they're pharmacy people are always nice & friendly if you have Qs about any meds.- even if you don't get your scripts from them. I love that they have fresh flowers available any time of day as well. I love the points program, it saves us on our gas expenses. We usually have enough points to get 0.40 cents off per gallon! I could write a book about how great Krogers is! But wont!!”
“This was my first infusion and I was very anxious and nervous but Ben was absolutely amazing and made me feel so comfortable. He answered so many questions and just made the experience not seem gloom. I’m so glad they offer in home to make me feel more comfortable”
“Good deals with Kroger Plus, clean, decent selection of groceries, helpful employees. I usually use the self checkout. They are doing some renovations right now so once those are done it will be even better.”
“I needed to pickup medicine for my wife after she discharged from the hospital. It was late on a Saturday, and I was rushing to get the medicine she needed to take that night. I struck out at two other pharmacies in town and showed up here 1 minute before closing. Without asking any questions or complaining, Nick stayed late to fill the medication for me and I was able to give it to my wife. We have been here ever since and have had great experiences every time. But especially thankful for Nick taking care of me that first time!”

“I have been going to Huntington Pharmacy for 25 years now. I was Diagnosed with multiple sclerosis at the age of 21. And at the age of 36 I suffered eight strokes and a mild heart attack, which brought on early onset of dementia so sometimes I get confused. I love Pam and Melissa because they are so patient with me and take the time even when they’re busy to explain things to me. My medication‘s get changed around quite a bit An if for some reason they happen to not have the medication I need. They always managed to get it by 12 PM the same day. I would never Even contemplate switching to a different Pharmacy, I Love, Huntington and their staff and will be a lifelong customer”
“Went in last weekend to pick up a few household items and ended up spending more time than planned. The store was busy but still felt organized, and aisles were wide enough to move around carts without much trouble. Prices seemed reasonable for bulk items, especially on pantry staples and cleaning supplies. Staff at the checkout were polite and moved the line along at a steady pace, even with a crowd. Parking was a little tight, but that’s expected during peak hours. Overall, it was a solid shopping trip and I’d come back when I need to stock up again, nothing fancy just dependable and convenient.”

They just went ahead and helped me. No judgment, no shame! The pharmacy I used before I caked here did not treat me well, and often made me feel like I dreaded refill time. “Greg was an absolute lifesaver! My mom was discharged from Huntsville Hospital on a Saturday a few weeks ago. We had been reassured twice that the hospital would coordinate with her insurance provider to be able to take home a walker & bedside potty from the hospital. We were not told until the discharge paperwork was being presented to my mom on a Saturday afternoon that the hospital was unable to coordinate this. The explanation that was given is that the supplier for the musical equipments is closed on Saturday. I was furious & frantic trying to figure out how to get the equipment my mother needed in order to make a successful transition to her home. I was able to find Propst drugs online. Their location was extremely convenient to the hospital and Greg stopped everything he was doing to help. I truly appreciate his assistance and kindness that stressful day! I will 100% recommend this business to everyone I know in HSV!! Thanks again!!”
“Most pharmacies in town are out of the specific flu medicine I was prescribed. The lady at the Winchester Rd., Kroger called and spoke to Austin at this location and let him know I would be on my way. I didn’t think I would be able to get my prescription filled since I would be showing up with a paper prescription right at their lunch break. He had already pulled the prescription, and stayed a few minutes past his lunch break to make sure I got my medicine. Super grateful to not have to make any unnecessary trips back and spread germs! Thank you!”
“Yes, i'd like Sam's Club a 100%. The prices are reasonable but I wish the membership feed was not so much but I like going in there. Shop with my mom and we love buying sugar-free lemonade. I like buying prime. But I need more flavors. I want to buy the lemonade one but they don't have it. I can't find it Anywhere in the state of Alabama yet. But i'm gonna keep looking like keyboard bulletin”

“The staff: lovely but overworked and that can come across as rudeness. They're people. They're not obligated to be over the top excited to talk to you. They're exhausted. They're understaffed.
A couple of new people have started working here and the new pharmacist is an absolute delight. She is so friendly and helpful.
The online ordering: DON'T DO IT. It's broken. The staff knows it's broken. It's not their job. It isn't their fault. But it doesn't ever work.
The stock: we've had stock issues. It's a manufacturing problem. Shortages happen. Not their fault.
The hours: sometimes they close early. Call ahead and ask. That's on you. Again not their fault.
The insurance companies and the doctors not having your medicine approved: we can ALL AGREE that the system is screwed up beyond belief at this point. It's not an excuse when the pharmacy says that your medicine isn't ready because of insurance or hearing back from your doctor. You have NO IDEA the process that goes into these haggle sessions to get insurance companies to cover certain things they don't believe are medically necessary. Be patient and be proactive to call your doctor to see if you can help the process along.
Communication: yeah they aren't good here at communicating what is going on. Sometimes they forget to tell you the meds are ready. They never call to say there is a back and forth with the doctor and the insurance. You have to be proactive here.”
“Card reader at Self Checkout 3 messed up. Seemed to be going through inventory when we went, but store was still well kept. Plenty of workers around the store. Great selection of live plants.”
“This location works well if you’re just picking up groceries or pharmacy items. However, for a wider selection of products, I prefer shopping at a Walmart Supercenter, which offers more variety under one roof.”
“I called to have a prescription transferred here. Ashley answered the phone right away. She was so sweet and easy to talk to. She told me she could have my prescription ready in 30 minutes and was nice enough to enroll me in text message alerts. I am very impressed with the excellent customer service. I am so happy I found this pharmacy. If you are looking for a nice attentive staff, this is your store .”

“Above average for a Publix. Nice selection in deli/carry out area. Usually has everything I am looking for in stock. I wish they would stock more Publix brand Diet Cherry and Regular Diet Cola. I am deathly allergic to Neutrasweet and those are the only diet sodas with Splenda.”
