“Today I went to the downtown Birmingham Post Office because I needed help with a difficult mail issue. I was greeted by Jeremy at the lobby entrance, who listened to a short portion of my story. Jeremy directed me to the mail clerks for assistance. I was fortunate to have Cassandra available to assist me. After carefully listening to my concern, she quickly turned to her computer and fixed the issue. I left very impressed with my visit to the Downtown Birmingham Post Office. Thank you Jeremy and Cassandra.”

“I stopped in this post office to mail a small package and drop off a few letters. The postal workers were just so kind and helpful! I also purchased some Valentine’s stamps which are just so cute. The only mark against this post office I would make is that the outside looks so unkempt, it needs a good pressure washing. I was honestly unsure of if it was open.”

“I have used this location several times to ship things I've sold online and their staff has always been exceptional! They're always very polite and kind and make a point to say hello to my son when I bring him in. This is a thankless job but I very much appreciate everyone at this location!!”

But the last couple of times I've been there there's a desk clerk named Barbara and I'm telling you she is very professional very friendly and a lot of other workers could take notes from her. “I’ve never had a bad experience using this post office. A couple of times a clerk added shipping tape to my packages without my asking. I was grateful! At my retirement home, packages are scanned immediately when picked up. I’ve never had mail lost. I’ve dashed to add forgotten mail as they walk out our front door and they were ok with it. They’re polite; I’m not looking for fake smiles and scripted verse, anyway.”

“So I ordered a package and forgot to put my resident number on the address when I placed the order which means that the package is going to probably be circulating So I called this location this morning and spoke with a young man by the name of Joseph, he was very helpful and took time to help try to locate my package him just taking the time out trying to help me with a problem that Was ultimately my fault meant a lot to me, so I thought it was only right that i share my experience!!!! “Not sure of the name of lady who helped me out this morning, but she made my entire experience so pleasant and explained everything I asked her. I was so happy with my experience. It took me less than 5 minutes to do what needed to get done, and she was so thorough with making sure to answer any questions. She was super sweet and very personable. I was just super pleased with the efficiency of this employee and the friendly service. She got her job done, and I got mine done. She really made me feel welcome today.”

“They surly made a much needed improvement at this post office and I'm not speaking of the building, but from the employees here. I never thought post office workers could be so nice and they seem to loved the work that goes with having to deal with the public for which sometimes it can be a pain in the you know what. The employee Pam was nice and helpful in getting our passports renewed and lucky, we went during a time of day where it wasn't busy.”

“No frills post office, went in to mail a FB order and the lady at the desk didn’t say a word to me. Instead she just kept talking to another customer. In and out in less than 60 seconds though, can’t say you can beat that! Support the U.S. Postal Service!!! Bring back snail mail ❤️”
