“The absolute best Dollar general that I've ever visited. Specifically, Glenda and Heather happen to be to the best Dollar general employees of other had a pleasure of being helped by. They are laser focused on excellent customer service. Furthermore, they were instrumental and bringing a lot of joy to my son on his Christmas morning. Thank you both ladies! “Nice store. I used to go to the Homewood Ollies but now this one has more stuff and the store is cleaner. Great bargains- good place to buy books, washing detergent and certain food items too. I got a TV antenna from them and it works great. They also have paint supplies, pet items, hardware, rugs, cookware, curtains towels and stuff for your car. ?”
“We stopped here to get some fireworks for New Years, but since we have a toddler and a newborn, we only wanted to get some small stuff to show our toddler. We didn't want to scare her to death! We got some of the black cat super snappers and then some sparklers. She absolutely loved both of them, and I have to give a HUGE shoutout to the staff here. They did not even charge us for any of the fireworks that we got - they just wanted our little girl to have a fun, memorable experience, and we are so very thankful for that. We will definitely be coming back here to get fireworks from them next time.”

“I always find good items, good deals at Five Below but I'm very disappointed that they've joined the self-checkout only regime. I really don't like having an employee of a store standing right at the cash register and me being expected to do the work. Shopping is supposed to be a release after I've been to work all week. Not more work for someone else for free, or rather that I pay for.”

“I had the pleasure of encountering sales clerk Jai. It was literally 20 minutes before closing the night before the 4th of July. There were others in the store focused on reshelving out of place items. I needed balloons and they were too high to reach so Jai jumped and got me 6. I also needed items for s’more and he went and got all of the items for me since I couldn’t find them. His attention to details, amazing customer service and polite mannerisms really made a stressful race against the clock, an enjoyable shopping experience. I just wanted to recognize him because he truly does deserve it.”
“Definitely one of the better DG stores ive been in. Don't have to worry much about going around carts of unstocked items. Every time I've came in I've always been greeted and helped out whenever i asked. Only thing I'd say that could improve this store is having at least 2 staff members there at night. Whenever I go at night there is usually only one staff member who is usually busy trying to multitask between stocking and tending to customers for checkout.”
“I had never been in here before, but generally knew what to expect - decent prices on the (somewhat random) items found within. We found a basketball for our daugher, our main goal, and a few other random things that we added to the buggy as we browsed through the store. They have sporting goods, clothes, electronics, swim and beach stuff - though I'm sure this is seasonal. It's nice to know we didn't have to spend a fortune on it though.”

“What can you say about dollar general that someone wouldn't already know? Prices remain pretty good. Shelves are loaded with a variety of food and goods that are popular. This one was exceptionally clean and well kept inside and out.”

“Very convenient location with wonderful staff! The store has a wonderful selection and great layout. The parking is very easy and everything was clean. They have great variety of food selection even fresh and frozen. The prices were on par if not beating some of the local bigger stores around. Highly recommend and we will definitely be back!”

“Avoid this location all costs. With Father's Day approaching as well as my nephew's birthday... I dropped by Family Dollar with the intention to purchase several items to make a personalized basket of goodies. I took my time b/c I planned to make both gifts special for the special men in my life. I've never walked the entire store & down each isle until today. I had a full buggy walking to the register to check out when I was stopped by the manager informing me that the police have been called and on their way. She called it a wellness check. Apparently there is a time limit for shopping. I waited on the officer who was confused as to why he was called. He told me that I had done nothing wrong and I could enter the store anytime & stay as long as I wished. The manager completely humiliated me in front of other customers & the employees. This action on her part was completely unprofessional &un called for. I'm no criminal. Just a girl who enjoys retail therapy without any rush. She needs some sensitivity training & possibly another less stressful position.”
“I used to not shop here because of the condition of the stores conditions and the rude staff. Under new management the store has made a complete turn around! Crew is so friendly and helpful, April Jai and Jayda are so kind to me and know me by name as a regular, i appreciate how respectful they are to customers here!”
