“Was unaware that this specific location stays open til 10pm everyday except Sundays (close at 9pm sunday) but was pleasantly surprised as I was in desperate need of some excedrine & it kept me from having to go all thru a big store (Walmart lol). “I always find good items, good deals at Five Below but I'm very disappointed that they've joined the self-checkout only regime. I really don't like having an employee of a store standing right at the cash register and me being expected to do the work. Shopping is supposed to be a release after I've been to work all week. “Managed to get in the door to buy a few things before close but I didn't realize it had gone past closing time. The staff could have been friendlier as I stopped briefly to respectfully interact with the staff but no someone was holding the door wide, silent, giving me a death stare.
Is that what "showing someone the door" means because I've seen friendlier door-stops. And I though introductions to a means to enter of exit isn't usually so subtle lol.

“I had never been in here before, but generally knew what to expect - decent prices on the (somewhat random) items found within. We found a basketball for our daugher, our main goal, and a few other random things that we added to the buggy as we browsed through the store. They have sporting goods, clothes, electronics, swim and beach stuff - though I'm sure this is seasonal. It's nice to know we didn't have to spend a fortune on it though.”

“Today I went into Dollar general market and was more than pleasantly surprised as a person who works retail myself I was moved to tears LITERALLY..firstly to find something like this in my community!! Everything was fronted... pulled up.. clean & crisp I knew where I was going in the store I didn't have to step over stuff.. I had to go back and give the lady at the register a BIG kudos!! The seasonal aisles were clearly defined and clean there was no mixing of clearance and seasonal or things left to sit clearly out of place you could see where the work had been done to make it shoppable I could find everything I needed all the while being in awe of the dedication that the employees have to their jobs. Thank you it was truly a pleasure to shop there today. I've been to three DGs today I love them but this one EATS!!!”
“Went there to get some baskets and I couldn't find the amount that I needed so I asked an employee and she was very helpful helping me look for them! She found 1 more of the one I needed. They didn't have all that I needed, but I appreciated her help looking for them!”
