“Without a doubt this place serves the best corn dogs that I have eaten to date in Alabama. The batter was light, there was no oil or greasy taste, the inside was hot and when you add Texas Pete and Heinz mustard you are in Nirvana! The rest of the store is your typical convenience store and also sells hard liquor. I did not try any other food items but they all looked good and fresh.The physical location is immaculate, Good thing that the store is relatively far from my house or I'd be as big as a house eating those corn dogs!! Super nice people working the store as well. Nice job.”
“Always super nice employees! Bathrooms are a little dirty but not so bad that I wouldn't take my kids in there. Just normal public restroom anxiety. ? The cappuccino machines usually have at least 2 you can't choose but other than that it's a top notch place due to the customer service. Also nobody comes out to bother you if you need to post up for a minute. I know plenty of people who doordash and use this place as a sweet spot for catching new orders. Very friendly staff. This place also has an amazing taco truck in the parking lot, liquor sales, and much more. Stop by for snacks and gas. Would fill up again.”
“Mi Mexico Taqueria in this Texaco is the best burrito I have found in the area and competes with my NM heritage. Love this place! Try to go as often as possible since it is out of my way. Thank you Texaco for having this little restaurant in there. I only ever get the huevos con chorizo burrito so no comments on anything else. Large is now $8 but worth it!”

“This review is not about a singular experience. I am writing it because my wife and I had multiple positive experiences at this Walgreen’s Pharmacy. Pharmacists are trained to know a LOT about drugs so I went to the Walgreen’s Madison (Hughes) pharmacy a couple different times to inquire about some meds that I take and the shingles vaccination. Pharmacists are very busy virtually all the time, so it is sometimes difficult for them to be distracted, even for a few minutes. Nonetheless, in both circumstances the pharmacist (2 different ones) on duty took time to explain answers to my questions in a way that I, who am ignorant about such things, could understand. On yet another day, my wife went to get a vaccination, and had some questions about its relationship to allergies. Again, a clear, unhurried explanation that give my wife confidence to get the shot. On the day my wife received her vaccination, I wasn’t sure about the dates for a couple of my own. The pharmacist took the time to look up when and what for 3 different things. It turns out I am current for all 3, but I did not know that. But this review isn’t JUST about the pharmacists at this pharmacy. To a person, everyone behind the counter took ownership of his/her job, was professional, polite, and helpful. Another time, I went in for a flu shot and am not skillful with data input on a phone. The lady at the counter did it on my phone for me – with a smile. Watching the staff while I waited for my shot, I was impressed with how well they worked as a team and got along with each other with the same level of respect they give their customers. I am retired military so, am not a regular customer her, but I was still treated like family. Whether you are dropping a prescription off, picking one up, or just asking a question, this is the place to go.”
“This Texaco is convenient. Gas, drinks, whatever you need. Not open 24 hours but that's ok. Not much traffic out there after midnight anyway. They do not have local craft beers but they do have WD-40.”

“They are always very welcoming, I live across the street. And there's a product that they don't have and I want it they'll order it for me and have it the following week. They care about their customers so much that they know who we are when we call because we call to order pizza because they have the best pizza in town I'm telling you it beats Domino's or anyone and he remembers exactly what type of pizza we want every single time and makes it exactly how we want it even if we want hot wings or anything else like that he makes it exactly how we want it it's a great gas station.”
“I stop here all the time when I am meeting up with friends for a bike ride. The folks who own the place are super friendly and are always willing to help out a traveler. People complain about the gas prices, but they are in line with other stations that are right off the Interstate............so if you don't like the price............. go someplace else! They also have a great selection of homemade biscuits with tenderloin, steak, chicken and bologna in the morning. Well made and tasty!”

“Why does this random gas station have the best chicken tenders I've ever had? LOL. Incredibly large, fresh, juicy and flavorful. Potato wedges and their morning biscuits are also not bad! I work across the street and I come often. I was so caught off guard by how good the chicken is haha. (Fyi the ranch is like CFA ranch which isn't my fave but the honey mustard is super good!!)”

“I come here about once a month because they have the "healthy cigarettes" (clove Djarum~cleans lungs) and their gas is good for my engine BUT TODAY... OMG... ?new owner and his wife made these cookies... shout out to this cookie...PINKY'S REECES CHUNK PEANUT BUTTER COOKIES WILL MELT YOUR FACE~ DELICIOUS! You could put a birthday candle on this cookie for a work mate or friend~ it's sooo good! WOW! Best cookie EVER!!!”
