Not only did the Animal Hospital let me make an appointment the same day I called, they were so sweet and kind and really showed empathy for my situation. It hurt so much to say goodbye and they let me take my time and even comforted me afterwards. I especially appreciated the fact that they had weekend hours, because I was able to get the attention my fur baby needed and they took care to make sure his transition was a peaceful one with the dignity and love he deserved. 9150 Airport Boulevard, MobileHaving to make the decision to put down a beloved pet is one of the hardest things anyone can go through, and the compassion shown by West Mobile Veterinary Clinic during that time meant more to me than I can properly express. My cat had cancer and was suffering, and unexpectedly having to make that decision for my baby boy Tate was devastating. The fact that I can still leave a five-star review after such a painful experience truly says a lot about the care they provide.
Every single staff member was informative, understanding, patient, and incredibly kind throughout the entire process. They treated both me and my cat with genuine empathy and reassured me that I was making the right decision for him and his quality of life.
What touched me even more was that they went out of their way afterward to send a condolence card, which was such a thoughtful and meaningful gesture during a difficult time.
I’ve been to several vets around Mobile over the years, and this is the first clinic that truly felt attentive, trustworthy, and genuinely caring toward animals. You can tell they truly care about both pets and the people who love them. I will always be grateful for the kindness they showed us.

3625 Springhill Memorial Drive South, MobileMy 15 year old Sophie was in distress when I called minutes before Ark Animal Clinic's normal business hours ended on Saturday. Dr Wilder willingly stayed to see Sophie. Lab work was immediately run and pancreatitis was the diagnosis. Dr Wilder took swift action with IV fluids and antibiotics which was life saving for my girl. Sophie was monitored at the clinic on Saturday and Sunday to make sure she was stable and by Monday lab work showed Sophie was back to normal. Bottomline, Dr Wilder saved my Sophie's life. She was there for me and Sophie after hours and even checked on Sophie during the weekend. I'm impressed with Dr Wilder's dedication to her clients, medical expertise but most of all the care given by her and the staff. Thank you, Dr Wilder....you are awesome!

They came on relatively short notice. They were both very pleasant and considerate - especially given the circumstances. We appreciated the fact that we did not have to drag our dog who was already suffering out to a standard clinic. We would definitely recommend them for home services for others.

The Small Animal Clinic
804 Downtowner Boulevard, MobileWe don’t live in Mobile, but were traveling through and stayed a night. Our 6 week old kitten was with us, and started to feel sick while we were in town. We’d gone to Banfield and were quickly turned away without much acknowledgement or help. Small animal clinic was nearby, so we walked in to try to have our cat seen - not only did they immediately prep a room and work us in, they were kind, informative, and had all the medications we needed in-house. Dr Owen and the team there during our visit were all amazing and we are just so incredibly appreciative. 10/10 - they took care of our little guy and gave us everything we needed to get him back to 100%. Also - we were shocked by how reasonable the prices were!

I just wanted people allergic to dogs like myself, to be aware they are VERY dog-friendly. Everyday I would guess 5-10 dogs enter daily and not every owner controls their dog well.
I’ve had two incidents as of late.
First, I was sitting at a table inside facing away from the side door. Before I new a dog was jumping on and licking my leg and the owner didn’t even acknowledge it.
Secondly, I was sitting at a table today and again an owner this time with a husky allowed the dog to rub all over me. I mentioned to the owner I’m allergic and he pretty much ignored me. He sat down at the table next to me. The dog was on a leash but the owner still allowed the dog to advance and get within inches of me. The main problem about this Husky is its hair was flying all of the place, the table, my personal belongings, and if I had food I’m sure it would’ve been in it. That’s scary to think about. I acknowledge the risk when I come here so I calmly went and sat outside without confrontation.
Thankfully, I’m not deathly allergic, I just feel moderate allergy symptoms for the remainder of the day so I can make due.
But to anyone who’s highly allergic or not fond of dogs just be aware of the risk.
