“I had never been in here before, but generally knew what to expect - decent prices on the (somewhat random) items found within. We found a basketball for our daugher, our main goal, and a few other random things that we added to the buggy as we browsed through the store. They have sporting goods, clothes, electronics, swim and beach stuff - though I'm sure this is seasonal. It's nice to know we didn't have to spend a fortune on it though.”

“horrible store isles filled with goldolas pallets in store always isles filled with stuff .. from plastic wrap all across floor ... worker is extremely rude to folks that have life rough with disabilities..best to pass it by and go to walmart .. always friendly never had a problem with current condition..only retailer for miles that cannot be kind to shoppers and realize life could be worse for others too.. maybe your day was bad who knows ,, but dont bite people worse off than yourself....9/13/23 thanks to help from dollar genral there will be no more problems with shopping here more.. contact with DM fully resolved.. thank you for finally stopping the harrassment and discrimination that was going on!”

“We have been looking for a certain wardrobe unit for over 2 years. A different Big Lots sold us 2 units 2 years ago and we got home only to realize what was in the box was not what we ordered. We were devastated and decided not to pursue finding it again. Fortunately, we visited a store recently and it found us again. This time we asked them to search for the item at other stores. We purchased 2 wardrobes from Trussville and the experience was very pleasant. We called ahead to reserve them and when we arrived Stan and Ian were very helpful. They were attentive, remembered us from the call, and helped us load everything. “We stopped here to get some fireworks for New Years, but since we have a toddler and a newborn, we only wanted to get some small stuff to show our toddler. We didn't want to scare her to death! We got some of the black cat super snappers and then some sparklers. She absolutely loved both of them, and I have to give a HUGE shoutout to the staff here. They did not even charge us for any of the fireworks that we got - they just wanted our little girl to have a fun, memorable experience, and we are so very thankful for that. We will definitely be coming back here to get fireworks from them next time.”

Pretty much your basic items to purchase, but the store is a lot smaller compared to the newer models and sometimes hard to get through. The cashier was pleasant and helpful while she was checking me out.”
